Video: David Barron reveals Deathly Hallows: Part II epilogue will be 2 minutes long At CinemaCon earlier this week, producers David Heyman and David Barron revealed that the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II epilogue will be about a couple of minutes long, and will revolve around the cycles of life. That can be viewed below. http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...p_89ae3b07.jpg Quote:

I expected it to be longer. I wanted to enjoy it for as long as I could. No one wants to see the ending- the saddest part, the happiest part, and the last you hear of Harry- to be two minutes long... [:/] |
Awwww I wish it was longer, it was a great part of the book. I understand what they mean though, I just hope they do J.K's amazing writing justice! |
I wish it was longer, but if they say they like it, who am i to judge. I REALLY hope they do it justice!! |
So long as I get my "[Snape] was the bravest man I ever knew" line from Harry, I'm totally cool with however long they decide to make the epilogue ^_^ |
Makes sense that it would only be a couple of minutes long. It makes the fact that Harry moved on and had a family much more poignant, I think. |
i wish it was longer :[, but i hope they do it well! if they don't i will be angry. i know i will cry at the end when it is all over |
I will still cry at the end of potter because i dont have any acscuses to use like part 2 isnt out yet anymore!long live potter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Do Harry's children have a mother? I hope that she doesn't get pushed to the side in this. |
What?!?!?!?! |
I just got all emotional and chills up my back reading "Ron and Hermione's children" AWWWW.... yeah Ginny should be there. |

Awk Davey, you can make longer than two minutes?!?....pleeeease :) |
Only 2 minutes?? =( |
Two minutes does seem a bit short imo. 5 minutes I can understand but 2 minutes implies to me they cut quite a bit out of what we see in the book and that was short enough to begin with. |
omg i am going to cry so much with this movie i tend to get very excited with everything harry potter not sad really but i am noticing with this movie even the cool stuff, like the dragon poster the other day make me cry like a baby...its sooooo sad...that its ending...but at the same time it has to, i now that! i cried a lot with the book, i remember, this book was exquisitely sad to read...and i cant wait to see it translate to film |
Hopefully they will make the most of those two minutes!! I can't wait to see it!!!! :D |
I'm hoping that, even though the epilogue is only 2 minutes, that that means they left a lot of the Battle and the Prince's Tale in the movie and stayed very true to the books in that aspect :D |
Cool! |

I'm scared of how they're going to muck it. Let's hope not too much. I wondrer why they have to delete things while inventing others. There's so much in the books, why invent? |
Actually, it's a lot funnier for the director and the producers to had a little originality than just stick to a book (I talk by experience). Peter Jackson will do it in the Hobbit, and I don't think it's a bad thing for the story... But I agree that 2 minutes is a little short, since we'll all be crying our lives at that moment. Maybe too short will create a shock ( for the fans I mean)... We'll not even have time to say goodbye to our characters, or maybe just to the dan rup and emma team. |

If Hermione gets all the lines and screen time in the Epilogue I will scream and throw things! I want it to be centred on Harry, Ginny and their children! |
Oh,I think it's okay..No problem.. |
Hmm, I don't think I like this. But hopefully it'll turn out good and not just a glimpse or something like that. |
