The first photo of Rupert Grint as 37-year-old Ron Weasley from the Deathly Hallows epilogue, being shot at King's Cross in London this week, has been released by SnitchSeeker reader queensarcasm, and can be viewed in larger format here in our galleries.

UPDATE 2: Evanna Lynch was also on set, but it's not clear if her character was involved with the shoot. She's seen below (on the left) looking at Tom Felton as an aged Draco.

I need to stop looking at picutres like this! It makes me want to see the movies so bad...and this movie won't even come out for over a year yet!!!

well, least it's consistant. Dan looked too old, now Rupert. I wonder if we'll be happier when we get to see malfoy. Will it be long hair like his dad.

From what I've heard via those who were successful in taking good photos, you have to be stealthy with your camera, and quick to take the shots. I'd suggest that. And, if you get them, send them right here.

Everyone is saying they look too old. The trio in the epilogue were at least 38 years old. Almost forty. (19 years at the end of the war, and it was 19 after the war. 19+19=38)

I think they look great! And my sister is 30 and looks older than some of them. So...yeah.

good that we finally get to see adult Ron, but we need a clearer shot, somehow the blur makes him look like a senior citizen lol!

I hate to say it but you have to think that that battle aged them all moreso than anything... it to me makes sense to make them look more haggard and older. Ron's weddding ring just made me scream happily :-)

Ron looks great, abit like Arthur :D, but abit older than they should look probaly, which makes me wonder of how intentional this was, maybe they won't do "19" years later like the book, maybe they'll do "29" years later or something cause they want it to have more an impact on the fans...I dont know lol. Maybe It's just one of those changes from the book. Anyways, I'm excited =)

Ok...Yates is a delusional individual....either he is surrounded by folks that dont age well anyways and they are his role models or.....? I am older than the HP characters in the epilogue, as are many of my co-workers...i can assure u I dont look frumpy, mildly wrinked or aged in any way. ok...so skin creams do work, but still.....Yates' depiction is purely inaccurate.

You can't really blame the make up on David Yates. Anyway I think with the poor quality of these pictures it should look better on film

I understand what you are saying, but not everyone looks decades older than their years. They could have has some of them age fast for their ages and others age slowly. That would have created a fair balance. And my mom is 60 and she does not look it at all.

One thing I don't like of this director is his concept of a 36 year old person, and his need of making them heavy. Let's see what he comes with in the end.

It makes me really happy to see these pictures but at the same time i feel teary eyed as it's offically ending really soon. I sadly cant make it to kings cross but really wish i could as it would be great to see the ending as i saw the begining when they fillmed the first one.

I just had an Evanna-like spaz attack, ESPECIALLY after seeing Draco with that long hair! I've never, EVER thought of Draco with Lucius-like hair, so it's interesting... VERRYYY nice. :D

And Rup... well, he's taken on the middle-aged potbelly. But I wouldn't have expected Ron to stay as thin anyways, with all of that good food that the Weasleys have. :xd:

In the vid, is that Jade walking beside Tom in the brown boots and thick, black jacket with the furry hood? I can't be sure. And I LOVE how a fellow American took the vid as well! :lol: If I was legal, I SO would have bought a plane ticket and would have gone out to King's Cross this week. :lmao:

these pictures are making me so excited for the movie but i dont know if i can wait for part one and then waiting some more for part two

I have to say that I'm really pleased to see these shots, I was reluctant to look at them at all.

I know that people think the look 'old' or 'heavy' but I actually think that they look like ordinary people who you would walk past and take no notice of in the street. People so used to seeing stars who are preened, primped, nipped and tucked to such ridiculous lengths that I think some of us have forgotten what ordinary people look like. That's what I love about the Epilouge; JKR makes it clear that Harry & co have lived, as far as they have been able to, an ordinary life. I really doubt that the healers would waste time coming up with a wizarding version of botox and plastic surgery. Ron would get a pot belly, that boy/man eats like food is going out of fashion from the moment Harry meets him on the train.

Too spoiler for me..Don't want to see it..

I am getting too worked up about all of this. I was watching the National Movie Awards lastnight and my eyes watered when they did the HP thing. I can't wait, everyone in my house thinks I'm crazy!!!!!
