Universal Studios Japan announces Quidditch, Hogwarts Express, more in new parade
 

Universal Studios Japan announced their first annual Universal Spectacle Night Parade "Best of Hollywood," which will feature the debut of a Harry Potter set that will include the Hogwarts Express and a live Quidditch match! The parade will debut in Osaka, Japan on Thursday, May 17th.

Other parade displays feature characters from Transformers, Jurassic World, and the Minions, and it should be noted that the Harry Potter parade floats (art below) will be the first to come out of the nearly hour-long celebration.

Universal Studios Japan proudly announces that it will hold its GRAND OPENING of the “UNIVERSAL SPECTACLE NIGHT PARADE ~BEST OF HOLLYWOOD~” on Thursday, May 17th.

The “Universal Spectacle Night Parade – Best of Hollywood” will celebrate 4 of Hollywood’s fan-favorite Franchise, including “Harry Potter,” Illumination Entertainment’s “Minions,” “Jurassic World,” and making their Park debut in the parade, “Transformers.” The iconic entertainment brand was launched in 1984 by Hasbro and Japanese company Takara, and has since grown from popular toys to include games, animation and feature films.

The parade faithfully recreates the worlds of each of the franchise amidst a continually changing environment where　guests are completely immersed in a spectacular 360 degree view of the worlds of their favorite films. Approximately 600m of projection mapping will be featured along the route of this “parade” which will revolutionize traditional perceptions, and floats reaching 8m high will awe guests with new experiences beyond their imagination.
