Sir Kenneth Branagh receives Excellence in Film award, speaks about late Alan Rickman
 

At this week's The London Critics' Circle Film Awards, Sir Kenneth Branagh spoke fondly of longtime friend, the late Alan Rickman, whom he met as a young actor at RADA.

Branagh commented on when he came onto the set of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which he played Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, and how Rickman was generous and kindly introduced him to everyone in the cast and crew. That can be seen here.

the more we hear about how Alan was as a colleague, the more we realize he is NOTHING like his villains.

seems to be the case innit? the guys who play the movie bad guys are very often real life good guys.
