Rupert Grint calls Hogwarts Great Hall in Deathly Hallows II "flaming ball of rubble"
 

The March issue of Total Film magazine highlighted some of the biggest movies to come in 2011, which of course included Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, out July 15. The small teaser on the final installment of the series includes a couple of ominous quotes from director David Yates and actor Rupert Grint, who called Hogwarts' Great Hall during the final battle a "flaming ball of rubble." I'm guessing Ron is a character who 'carks it' due to the photo of Hermione comforting him as he is distraught. In the book Ron also has a bit of a meltdown.

I'm mature enough to handle this, but I'm afraid for the little kids whose parents will take them to see this and... :eek:. Not good. But I'm glad they made it raw and realistic.

Tears will come. I know it. [:/] But I'm excited, nonetheless.

The last film is going to be the most emotional, no doubt about it. I really hope that they can bring the atmosphere of the book to the film.

God, it's wierd.... I want to see the last film SOOO bad, but don't want to live the day when the series comes to an end...

It's gonna be terrible to see all those dead children. But it'll be so great in the end.

I'll personally be crying the whole movie, I remember seeing the first one, gooooooshhh, my friends were giving me weird looks, even though they were in tears as well!!!

I will be excited & gutted when the second part comes out cos it will be AWESOME and it's the last ever HP movie. Sad.

I can't wait to see this but, at the same time...I'm going to be devastated. No more Harry Potter movie!? -sobs-

yeah i was thinking about this the other day.. seeing all the dead bodies.. it is going to be an emotional ride for sure.. considering how many characters are left to die.. gonna be tough..

i think ill be able to swallow any changes made.. the one i dont want to change is where the final battle takes place between harry and voldermort .. if they are alone in that court yard which it seems to look like .. well i wont be too impressed

sad, but it's great that they made it realistic, it's one of those elements that really makes this story

sounds disturbing yet really great. I'm still in shock..ok not shock, I am still thinking about the Snape's death scenes location change. When I think of a boathouse I think of the little dock with a roof over it at my uncle's house :lol:

I would hope the parents who take younger kids prepare them! My two started watching HP movies young, and they knew dementors were just CG created :)

Dead chilrden everywhere?! There were teens behind,but the children were evacuated. These movies are way darker than the books!:(

Ohhh Rupert :) It really is the best way to describe the scene at the end of the movie (well, second to last scene, really).
I hope they keep the whole event of Molly Weasley killing Bellatrix. And they have to keep the line. It's nothing without the line.
I really wish they wouldn't kill Fred though. It would truly make the movie if Fred didn't die.

Yea I'm a little scared of those changes too. But who knows, we may end up liking it later. I know the Hermione/Harry Dance scene through me off at first, but I came to love it.

She means that Snape no longer dies in the Shack. That's another bit of news you can read by clicking on the link in the home page.
