RDR Books to appeal Lexicon decision
 

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that RDR Books, along with Steve Vander Ark, expect their attorneys to a file notices of appeal this week in regards to the decision that the Harry Potter Lexicon should be halted. They are said to be considering whether editing the book may make the judge change his mind. The intention is to revise the encyclopaedia and remove the offending parts.

Why doesn't he just drop it?:lol: He can just go ahead with his one traveling book:P

If only he would have put on his smart hat on BEFORE then they wouldnt be in this mess...

Im shocked, its like hes in denial or something. Ofcourse he wants to cooperate with Jo and WB, but WHY would they want to work with SVA?
Cant he just stop wasting Jo's and WB's time ?

I don't see how you can say you would be willing to work with the original author of a book you are trying to do an encyclopedia on. I think that he is trying to get some of that HP money that Jo is racking in and its like man go out there and get your own. Jo worked hard for all that she has. She wasn't a over night success and her book was passed over a few times. Stop chasing that quick buck and make it up in your mind that you are going to use that extra time on your hands to come up with something all your own.

Silly man. He isn't doing himself any favours by appealing.

He's probably put a lot of work and money into the project and doesn't want to give up hope that it might work out in the end.

He should just drop this whole thing before it gets a whole lot messier. Jo is publishing her own encyclopedia in the future, no one will wamt his! The more this thing gets drawn out, the less HP fans he will have supporting him.
