'Order of the Phoenix' shoots in Oxford
 

Oxford Mail reports that recently filming for 'Order of the Phoenix' took place in Oxford on the grounds of Blenheim Palace near the park's lake. They state that Dan Radcliffe as well as other cast members were present for the on-location shooting. WB refused to confirm which other actors were present.

Maybe they were shooting the scene where harry goes back in times and sees his dad , sirius and lupin ( after their OWL exam)??

so did they already finish filming in that location? did anyone happen to get a set report? do you think they'll still be shooting in Oxford, in a like a week..because I'm going to England the end of next week, and I would absolutely LOVE to check it out!! so let me know what you think..do you think they'll be any more filming on location in Oxford or anywhere else in the next week of so..I want to go see it and write a set report for everyone here!

The report said 2 days. On-location shoots don't tend too last long. And in a place such as that, security would be tight.

pretty kool stuff. Wish I knew what they were doing though. But I understand why they kept it hushed up.

I say we should kidnap that silly spokesperson and tickle him until he gives us more news on the OotP film! :D *sheepish grin* I know, too elaborate, but....

thanks for answering my question. that stinks, it would have been really cool to see some on-location shooting. oh well, I figured it'd be over by then anyway. yes, of course security would be tight, but in the past people have been able to get close enough to give set reports for on-location shooting so you never know. perhaps while I'm there, they will be travelling to another on-location spot to shoot that I could check out. if not, oh well, I could at least visit older locations they've used and this one and stand in awe at the fact that Harry Potter was filmed in this very spot. :)

Agreed and there are other movies like Spiderman which will be released at May and now had a teaser trailer and another trailer for it will come soon..We deserve to at least have a pic from the shots of the movie.
