Matthew Lewis talks Neville Longbottom's dramatic physical change in Deathly Hallows
 

In a new interview, actor Matthew Lewis opened up about the physical changes he had to go through to play Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. He noted that as Neville looked dramatically different in Deathly Hallows, the final installment in the saga, he was given the chance to forgo his signature fake teeth and fat-suit.

Great interview! I'm interested to see what he'll look like in Deathly Hallows. And I'm super excited that he gets to slay Nagini's head off. It's going to be epic.

Ooh I wonder what he'll look like in the movie! His teeth were fake? Well I suppose they weren't real.. Can't wait!

And that's why, in the end, Neville is one of the most important and likeable characters. Back when SS/PS came out, who would've thought that Neville would become so important?

My Mother, who only read the books until GoF, still rolls her eyes at me when I tell her how I think Neville is one of the most important charries and, possibly, the one with the best character development.

well thats actually what i'm hoping for, that Neville's importance would come to fore and not just get drowned out by the trio or all the action happening in the end. i'm worried that general audiences will go "who was that?!" when Neville deals the deathblow to Voldemort's final foothold to immortality.

oh and fake teeth aside, i think Matt can use a trip to the dentist ;) imagine him with a perfect set of choppers, he'll give Radcliffe a run for his money :lol:
