Liam Neeson’s bio on Wikipedia is listing him as being rumored to play Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
This is only a rumor and has not been confirmed by Warner Brothers.

I would be pleased if this turns out to be true... as many people have said, the source is dodgy at best... but Liam is an impressive actor and would be a welcome addition to the cast in my opinion.

oh, i dont think he'll be portraying Rufus, Liam looks kind enough to be a kind-Minister of Magic-when-he-isnt, also Liam doesnt look that authorative...that's an opinion

I like the idea of Liam Neeson having a role, but it would be a bummer if he is Scrimgeour because I really don't like Scrimgeour much. Of course, he could redeem himself in Book 7, so that could change.
