J.K. Rowling, Order of the Phoenix & Potter actors up for SyFy Genre awards The nominations for the SyFy Genre awards have been announced. J.K. Rowling, Order of the Phoenix, Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson have all been shortlisted for gongs. Dan Radcliffe is up for Best Actor, for his performance in the fifth film and faces competition from Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Harrison Ford and Will Smith. Emma Watson is up for Best Actress, for her performance in the fifth film and is up against Helena Bonham-Carter, Claire Danes, Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow. Order of the Phoenix is nominated for Best Movie alongside I am Legend, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Stardust and Iron Man. J.K. Rowling is up for the Gene Roddenberry Lifetime Achievement award. She faces competition from Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke, Gene L. Coon and H.G. Wells. Voting opens June 25th at SyFy Portal. Votes can be cast daily for 30 days up until July 25th. The winners will be announced on August 13th.
