SnitchSeeker.com - J.K. Rowling comments on Newt Scamander's Hogwarts expulsion & Dumbledore

J.K. Rowling commented briefly on Newt Scamander's expulsion from Hogwarts, which came as a surprise during the second trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The surprise here is that in the original Fantastic Beasts book, under Scamander's biography, it listed the magizoologist as having 'graduated from Hogwarts', yet the movie seems to say otherwise. It should be noted that the biography was probably not written by Scamander himself (since it is in the third person), but the same person who wrote the foreward... Albus Dumbledore.

Hopefully as the movie is released the story behind Newt's expulsion will be revealed in due course.
