I was a little disappointed with the 19 years later scene, I heard that they actually filmed a longer scene and I was really hoping that we would ge to see that one at some point. |
awesome |
Somehow I want to see those deleted scenes. Hopefully, they would release some? |
I was realy disapointed with Fred Dead scene... because i saw the tiny bit in the trailer and im like !"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP cant wait to see the rest." then i see the film and im like "wait... thats all i saw that months ago..." :( but Luna commentating would be amazing also De-Knoming epic:yes: Wish they kept the Tonks+Lupin scene in Prt2 it was soooooo sweet:x3: xx |
Interesting insights from David Barron. Good to hear. |
Having read the books before seeing the movies, I was sooo emotionally connected to Dumbledore's funeral and Fred's death scene (having cried like a fool while reading both parts) and was disappointed to see both scenes were left out. In some cases, I think they may have focused a bit too much on the forward movement of the movies and left out crucial plot points in favor of that. It kind of kills those 'aha' moments that you experience while reading the books... |
A great interview! I wish they could of put all of the scenes in! |
Great interview |
They wanted to take out so many of the best parts! Thank goodness they didn't cut any of them! |
Aww.. That's great! But I'm so happy that David Yates actually did make mistakes in the films and that he did get peepl confused. (I'm sure if you ask people who just watched the movies they would have no idea that Lupin and Tonks were ven married!)Afte seeing the final fim, my cuzzin literally txtd me "Is Snape Harry's dad?" I had to explain it to her, and she got it in the end, but really! |
It's too bad they cut anyrthing at all. |
The biggest plotline that was cut from the films that still has me absolutely shaking in fury is the relationship between Tonks and Lupin. She doesn't say a word to him in Order of the Phoenix, then she's calling him "sweetheart" all of a sudden in HBP, then she's calling him her husband in DH1, then Lupin mentions his son once in the last movie. One of the most beautiful, complex, heartbreaking couples, and they get reduced to a little throwaway line in each film. The fact that this was cut from the films was inexcusable, and I'm at a loss as to why Rowling allowed it, since she said Lupin was one of her favorite characters. |
I think we are all disappointed with all that didn't go into the movies, but they have to make cuts somewhere. I just hope we get a lot of deleted scenes in 2012...sounds like something they would now that is all over...maybe? |
