Half-Blood Prince U.S. premiere set for Los Angeles, sweepstakes contest for kids The article in Nick magazine that gave us the new Half-Blood Prince photo of Harry, Ron & Hermione was part of a feature promoting sweepstakes for kids to attend premieres of upcoming films, one of which is for the sixth Potter in Los Angeles, California - which means the U.S. premiere of the movie will take place there, as Order of the Phoenix did, rather than in New York. The contest will be open to U.S. residents between the ages of 6 - 14, where one lucky fan will win the chance to walk to red carpet in November. It opens March 21st and finishes on May 1st. I find this news really depressing...i dont really mind about the sweepstakes but the fact that its going to be in LA again?! i wanted to go last year but i couldnt so...i planned to go this year but thats not going to happen because 1. i literally live on the other side of the country, and 2. its going to be sometime in november which is right in the middle of the school year! oh well i guess theres still DH 1 & 2 to look forward to...they shoudl definately do them in NY again or some place theyve never been like Washington DC! (which is like 20 minutes from where i live:lol: |
