| | |  Half-Blood Prince nominated for Fantasy Film 2010 Art Directors Guild award
The nominees for the 2010 Art Directors Guild award have been announced for feature films and television, and Half-Blood Prince's work was recognised. Stuart Craig, production designer of the Harry Potter film franchise, received a nod for his work on the sixth movie, in the Fantasy Film category. He will be going up against designers for the films Avatar, District 9, Star Trek, and Where the Wild Things Are.
The winners will be chosen at a black-tie gala event in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 13, 2010.

I think Stuart Craig did a magnificent job in every potterfilm, so I'm a bit surprised that it has been recognised so late...... Because every little piece of design is from him and finally in HBP he has been nominated for this award...
But CONGRATS and he and the film has my vote!

Great job! Those other movies were so big, its great to know a HP film is in the running with it. I do agree with most of you though, I have a feeling Avatar is going to win... I still need to see that movie!
