First on-set photos of Emma Watson in "The Bling Ring"
 

In addition to Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson began work on The Bling Ring in Los Angeles today. The first photos of Emma, who is presumed to play Alexis Neiers, one of several teens who broke into the homes of and stole from various celebrities in 2009-2010, in director Sofia Coppola's crime caper have been released; those shots of Emma now sporting long, straight brunette extensions can be seen below.

I love her with short hair, but she's looking great with long hair again even if it's a wig.

I still have no idea why Emma would sign on to a project like this... Maybe I don't know the gist of the script and it could turn out to be a great film but honestly, this doesn't seem like something that would make for that interesting of a movie. [:/]

To me, it seems to play out with America's whole idea of rewarding people for their bad behavior, such as making a film about it. This only occurred two years ago and in a time where anyone is given a reality show, I feel like it would only launch the people of the "Bling Ring's" careers into stardom. If the case was so fascinating, I think they should have waited at least a few years so that it would only stand as a film and nothing else. Of course, that's just my opinion and I don't know any of these people personally, so I suppose who am I to judge? Either way, I'm happy to see Emma working once again. :)

Even though I initially thought the movie would be interesting, I kinda agree with Yasmine now, but I do hope that it's not going to be about the publicity.

I agree that this seems like a bit of an odd choice, that being said, she looks great and it is great to see her working on another project. :)

As for this movie-Sofia Coppola directing is a pretty strong indicator that this movie will do well...she directed Lost in Translation-won an Academy Award for it. Plus the plot itself-robbing celebrity homes by a group of teens??? Pretty brash!!!! My friends and I cant wait!! Love that Emma is onto another project, same as Rupert! The Potter cast is really showing the world they werent just going to be wizards :) yes American role for Emma again-bring on that American accent :)
