Emma Watson in early talks for Ken Branagh's 'Cinderella'; Daniel Radcliffe for Igor Variety reported that Emma Watson may be taking on the live-action part of famous Disney princess Cinderella, with her former Harry Potter costar Sir Kenneth Branagh directing. The project is in early talks right now, and Oscar winner Cate Blanchett would portray the evil stepmother. The film, if Emma is confirmed as attached, would begin production this fall with a 2014 release. We will have more on this as it is released. Emma's Harry Potter costar Daniel Radcliffe is in final negotiations and near confirmation to star as Igor in the newest adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, helmed by direrctor Paul McGuigan for 20th Century Fox, stated The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday. If Dan is confirmed to portray Igor, he will begin production this coming fall, after completion of the West End stage run of The Cripple of Inishmaan. Please note that both castings are currently in negotiations and nothing is set in stone yet; we will have much on both potential castings as information is released. |
Playing Belle and Cinderella?! :) movies are VERY smart to go after this awesome talented young actress!! :) |
Dan doesn't take a break, does he? |
That's so amazing!! Dan and Emma seem to be constantly filming or performing! |
woah...Cinderella and Bella...that would be cool...But I have seen so many other Cinderella stories, I would rather like to see her as Bella of Beauty and the Beast, that's a character that's never been adapted...But nonetheless would watch both of them if it has Emma in it...:) Quote:
And Dan in Frankenstein...cool...eagerly waiting...:) |
It's good that they're getting a lot of projects :D I'm so proud and happy for them :) |
Boom! Perfect Cinderella right there! |
Dan as Igor? should be interesting and maybe funny. Now it seems that emma is all about playing disney princesses...first belle now cinderella. Good for her...cant wait 2 see both |
Nit cool man, not cool. A remake of Cinderella? All these "serious" remakes of disney cartoons come off as clumsy attempts to make money. I cringe to see Emma being associated with it. |
I think she would be lovely for the part of Cinderella, especially across from Cate Blanchett. |
