Deluxe French Prisoner of Azkaban & Goblet of Fire to be released
 

Gallimard, the French Harry Potter publishers, have announced that deluxe editions of Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire will go on sale later this month. A photo of the cover arts can be seen here.

The books will be released on June 25th, with plans for similar releases of Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows in November.

The first two deluxe editions were gorgeous! I can't wait to get those as well! :D

I always likes the French covers...beautiful artwork.

They look like classic fairytale books, you know the ones with those elegant and ornate looking spines?

And the colors! So bright and vivid! I love the cover art, too :)

They really do look like books from the Medival periods but Harry Potter is a classic! By the way, what's in a Deluxe Edition of the book? I never was able to get my hands on a copy in the US cuz I was out of the country but it looked good!

I don't know if you'll check this message later on, but the French deluxe editions actually include illustrated boxes (as you may see on the pictures), hard colored covers (with a small reproduction of the illustration of the box), titles/Hogwarts year/author written in gold on it... The pages of the books have golden borders and the paper is incredibly soft. I just love reading them. It just looks like an old book from Hogwarts library!

On a personnal note, I will buy Book 3 and 4 on July, 27th. So, if you want more informations/pictures of them, I'd be glad to send them off to you! ;)

And as you guys are enjoying the incredible artworks on the covers, you can find loads of HP artworks by the same artist, Jean-Claude Götting, on his official website (he made all the French covers and some illustrations for French newspapers as well). :)
