The network will also present a special summer “Harry Potter” marathon from Thursday, July 7 through Sunday, July 10, showcasing the first five installments of Warner Bros. Pictures’ hit film franchise, leading into its highly anticipated theatrical release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2” (in theaters on July 15, 2011).
Okay I wasn't sure else where to put this, and certainly wouldn't make a new thread for it. I'd read online about two weeks ago that the first full Part 2 trailer was going to be attached in many parts of the country (USA) to copies of Battle:Los Angeles and Red Riding Hood. I can't believe how I don't think I'm seeing ANY talk around here about that, did it wind up not being the case? Did any Americans see either of those 2 movies this past weekend and the trailer wasn't there?
Because honestly I was also thinking maybe it'd pop up on youtube by this past Monday, like someone had snuck a camera in the theater and filmed the screen while the trailer played (not advocating such a practice of course, but we all know it's happened plenty before on highly anticipated trailer debuts).
edit: but also, dang, looking at the schedule layout up there for the marathon, I'm surprised even by as late as July it still apparently won't have been long enough from HBP's theatrical release for that to now be included in the end of the ABC Family marathon.
I love ABC Harry Potter weekends!! But I will especially love:
"The network will also present a special summer “Harry Potter” marathon from Thursday, July 7 through Sunday, July 10, showcasing the first five installments" because it is my birthday week! WOOHOO!!!!!!!
