[Co-director Danny] Stack added: “We thought Bonnie would be ideal for the role of Diane, the shady new manager of the camp in the story, as it’d be fun to play her against type and it’s brilliant to have such a successful child actress in one of the adult roles.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Bonnie’s part of the film. She loved the script, and is keen to support children and family films, especially indie productions like ours.”
The film starring the Harry Potter actress is set to release in June 2015.

Is she going to act for the villain? That would be cool.

YES SHE IS! Billie and her friends Woody (the nerd), Maxine (a military nut called The Colonel) and Shiv (the tough guy) spend their summer holidays at Nelson’s Retreat, a holiday park on the South Coast. One night Billie witnesses the camp's squirrel mascot, Nelson Nutmeg, falling from a cliff after an argument with a mysterious assailant! Billie convinces her friends to believe her (while their parents say it is all childish nonsense). They go to see Derek Nelson, the loveable manager. He is away for the week and they are suspicious of Diane, a new temporary manager who has just arrived. Is that a coincidence? Even though the kids are too old for Nelson these days they feel that they owe him for a lot of good times growing up. So they decide to find out who killed Nelson Nutmeg. Was it Diane? Or how about the other strange new visitors?

Act 2

The children try lots of things to solve the case. They question other children and badger the strange visitors. Then they stake out Diane’s office, they fly a radio-controlled helicopter over the park, they try to climb down the cliffs to retrieve the remains of Nelson Nutmeg’s costume. They even get extra help from a strange boy who lives on the campsite and is a detective genius. He suggests they break into Diane’s office. When they do they find evidence that Diane is planning to burn down the camp the very next day as an insurance scam. However, they are caught and the police are called. Just as they run out of ideas, Derek arrives back. Maybe all is saved?

Act 3

Can the gang save the holiday park? What was Diane up to? Where was Derek all that time? And of course - who killed Nelson Nutmeg?
