Did we ever see the skeleton of a Dementor? Looks a bit weird. I wonder if thats how they would make them appear like in Deathly Hallows. |
i saw the exhibit in Chicago and was totally impressed; however, the ticket costs were quite high. The dementor looks strange.....i think it is the skeleton. |
in the movies, the dementors have always been a bit too zombie like for my taste... they're really just supposed to be covered head to toe in a black cloak... its funny, i never saw them as that big... they were that big in harry potter and the forbidden journey... oh god that was terrifying... |
i agree, i think they way the demntors were protrayed in the 3rd film were done best, i thought they took them too far in the 5th movie.. that being said i wish this was at the exhibitoin when i went on opening day !! if you get a chance to go do it!! the ticket costs in Toronto were really reasonable!! |

Yeah, I definitely don't remember seeing the end of a spine sticking out on any dementors in the movies so far. I don't remember them just kind of... stopping halfway down to the ground. Maybe the whole cloak isn't on it or something? |

Just looking at it gives me the creeps, especially since it's about twice my height. -shudder- I hope they DO announce the next location soon! I remember them announcing that there will only be one more West Coast/American/something stop, and I'm dearly hoping that they'll come to Los Angeles! :jump: But even though the dementor is there, I think (not sure if they have it) the acromantula would scare me to pieces. And yes, that is the same dementor as inf the films. The hands look the same, for anyone that paid attention (:xd:), and the cloak is the same, although in the films the CGI made the cloaks look larger since they obviously billowed along. And the skeleton is supposed to be there. You never see it in the films because the billowing cloaks cover it. A question just popped into my head: how are dementors created, or born? We know how inferi are created, but dementors don't seem like the type that would reproduce... or even be asexual, for that matter. :rotfl: |
