 For those who belong in Slytherin House, on the right side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Green banners containing an embroidered silver snake float above the polished table in honour of the cunning Salazar Slytherin. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Winterbottom to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

This was it, his final feast at Hogwarts. Jan couldn't believe he was graduating at last. No more studying, now that he was done with his N.E.W.T's officially. Though he would continue working on certain skills with the help of his parents. While he did wish they could've placed better in the house cup, at least they won the Quidditch Cup and had a great track run in Gobstones.
Jan looked around at his housemates, looking forward to saying his well wishes and goodbyes. Well, the goodbyes can wait until later. He just wanted to make the most of the time left until then.

JT was pleased his OWL's were over. He hadn't realized how much studying and work was needed to preform on the tests before he had really sat them. JT let his eyes wander around the table at his housemates before they landed on Jansher who was graduating very soon. "Hey Jan! Are you excited to graduate, and leave Hogwarts?" JT was going to be in the same shoes in just two years and that scared him.

OWL exams done. While Slytherin may have come dead last in the House cup race, they won the Quidditch cup. Which only meant that some of her housemates were sure to be insufferable in their gloating. Fortunately Jan and JT did not seem to be such, not that the latter could ever be insufferable in Tiffany's eyes. The now sixteen year old was still enamored and really wish she'd have inherited some courage traits - Sadly there weren't too many Gryffindors in her family. An uncle. A cousin or two.
Twisting her hair around her finger, she finally decided she ought to speak. "Congratulations on the quidditch win, you two..." She turned her attention to Jan. "You think you'll continue playing after graduation?" She'd seen a lot of scouts in the stands, particularly in the last couple games, but there were a few seventh years so it was hard to know which they were there for.

Ary might have gotten a little side tracked with his thoughts, which was why he had been lagging behind Jan. The big weight of the fact this being both their final Feast hit him hard, of course, which was exactly what was floating around so very casually in his mind. At least now there would be some smidge more time for the Reserve. When he wasn’t busy with University and Pro Gobstones, that is. Speaking of… this time around, Aryan felt much about the Slytherin team’s performance despite the third place. It was quite a drastic improvement.
He took a spot next to Jan, nudging him as he did so. “A galleon for your thoughts, friend,’’ the guy said, grinning slightly. Something major Ary was grateful for? The fact that he and Jan would still get to see each other everyday after they graduated. Thank Merlin for small mercies! He now took the opportunity to look around at his Housemates who had arrived so far. “Hi, guys!” The greeting was directed to those nearby including JT and Tiffany. Having congratulated the Quidditch team earlier on their spectacular performances, Ary fell silent, simply taking the opportunity to bask in some quiet.
Until Id arrived, that is.
“BIG BROTHER!”
In a flurry of red and black robes, Idris Ace Grunt arrived. He threw his arms around Jan from behind, almost smacking Ary in the face in the process. He squished the other Grunt tightly around the chest. One might compare it to a snake wrapping itself around its prey but of course Id would be the good sort of snake. Throughout the term, he had spent a lot of time at the Slytherin Table, keeping Jan and Ary - but mostly Jan - company. This evening, being the last Feast at which he could do that, it meant that Id was emo to the extremo. “Do you HAVE to graduate?” he asked with a slight pout? There was one more squish before he took a seat on Jan’s other side, pout still on full display. | |

Jan nudged Ary back, his longtime friend. "Can you make change with some sickles?" Adding, "Gonna miss these halls.. how about you?" He knew Ary's plans would have them share another thing in common. Other than still being roommates. "I bet Idris is making his way towards me now, isn't he?" If not after a brief stop with their boyfriend.
Jan turned to JT smiling, "Hey JT, I'm going to miss you guys more than I am excited to graduate." Graduating was exciting, but at the same time, it was bittersweet, knowing the best was yet to come even though he'll be leaving some of his friends and family behind. "You promise the keep our team together next year?" Since he'll be chasing Quaffles without him now.
"Thanks Tiffany." He said. "I am actually. I got a few offers from the Montrose Magpies and Pride of Portree, so I'll be playing for either one in the next season." He always supported both teams, being a native Scottsman, but the final decision will come to him soon. "Are you thinking of playing next year?"
Sure enough, his neck was wrapped in arms followed by his little brother's voice. Well, he wasn't so little anymore, reaching about his height now. He patted Idris' hands for a moment. "Hey, my little Yellow Lion hood." Recognizing that pout. It was the same face he looked at the day he went off to Hogwarts and now he was leaving Hogwarts for good. "We all got to fly some time, Idris." He said. "I'll be home all summer before you head back to school." So the goodbyes wouldn't be happening now.
At last, the speech was given. Jan applauded with the others, and gave a few whistles at their Quidditch Cup announcement. Now that the food arrived, he can enjoy the meal in peace.

"Hi Ary!" JT greeted with a big smile on his face. They had after all won the Quidditch cup, and that weighed up finishing last in the house cup. Turning to Jan once more JT returned the smile with a beam, but got serious quickly enough. "I'm going to miss you too Jan. You're leaving big shoes to fill on the quidditch team, but I promise to do my best in filling in and trying to win the qudditch cup again for our house." It wouldn't be easy JT knew, but they'd get some new players which he hoped would be eager and ready to do the work to win. "Can we keep in touch as penpals? I want to know if you become a Pro qudditch player." He didn't want to loose the slightly older guys friendship because of distance and if Jan became a pro qudditch star he could still give him pointers. Quote:

Right, when were the OWL exam results going to come out? JT ponderd as he stole a glance up at the staff table. Most of the staffers were there including Headmaster Winterbottom so hopefully his loudly talking stomach would get something to eat soon. Turning to Tiffany as he heard her voice JT beamed over at his housemate and encouraged. "Thanks Tiff! Do as Jan said, tryout for the team, you have a favourite position don't you? I think you could be a good chaser or seeker." She must like flying and quidditch JT assumed since she had gone to cheer at all their games. It was then that the headmaster gave his speech and JT applauded and cheered at the right times and was pleased when the food arrived so he could dig into some steak and pies.

That got a laugh out of Ary. “I’ll see what I can do, just for you.” The other words made him turn sombre. “I know what you mean. Especially when they’re decorated for the holidays.” He was immediately reminded of his first year at this very Castle, when Dy had been gushing about the season and how wonderful everything always looked, especially in the Great Hall with the trees. Then again, his sister was a major Christmas fan. “I think he is.” Ary took a good look around for the littlest Grunt. He was easy to spot because of that head of hair; this evening Id had chosen to wear it fluffy. “Better brace yourself, Jan,’’ Ary warned, sniggering as he watched the energetic Gryffindor beeline in their direction.
The Slytherin shifted in the nick of time, otherwise Idris’ flying hand would have smacked him on the cheek. “Hi, Id.” Grinning, Ary repositioned himself properly next to Jan but he left the brothers to their chat, instead turning his attention to JT. At the exact moment his stomach made the unfortunate sounds of a dying whale. Ugh. No one had heard that, had they? “You bet I do. It has mostly to do with getting everything in order for university. Pretty boring stuff for a youngster like you.” He grinned. “So, what will you be up to?”
“Hi, Ary! You do know I wish you weren’t graduating too, right?” Iddy had become so used to Ary’s presence at Hogwarts, and it was not because the other Snake was usually in Jan’s company. At least Ary would still visit back home; Id’s mama would make sure of it. But… back to his brother!
“Yep, that’s me! Little Yellow Lion Hood!” He absolutely adored that nickname. He glanced over at the hufflepuff table where Paully was with Zen. “I prefer to sprint off like a cat in zoomie mode.” Jan was the one who flew, if you took the words quite literally. Id nodded, it was true they weren’t goodbye yet. ‘Goodbye’. What a silly word; it gave off the air of something final. As if one were never going to see someone ever again. Id had never liked it for that reason. And he certainly was not going to mention how Jan would be saying bye again towards the end of summer, so as to not make things sad. He’d just keep all the sadness inside him for now.
And before he knew it, the food was here! “I wish pets could join us at the Feast. Nessy would love some chicken.” | |

Not long later was Aryan, who seemed more subdued then usual. Was he taking it all in for his last year? It's possible. Seven years in a place surely had him feeling all the feels. "Hey, Aryan, Looking forward to what's next?"
Ahhh so there was one who was going professional. "Both good teams, but I'm fairly sure that my Aunt Amelia would give bias for the Pride of Portree. Care to autograph my napkin for me before you're famous?" Tiffany grinned. Yes may have some ulterior motives here, but gotta fund her future while she could! It was then that he turned to ask her if she was planning to play and honestly she hadn't given it much thought. JT chimed in as well, asking if she'd tryout. "I mean ... maybe... I hadn't really thought about it. I've only really played some pickup games, nothing competitive. Do you think you could offer me some pointers before tryouts next year?" Her opportune moment to spend some more time with JT. Of course technically she hadn't asked specifically for JT's help and could have been directed at Jan. Or both.
Just like that, the food had arrived.
