Chapter One | Just Friends

“Why can’t you just leave him alone? He doesn’t care about you one bit.” Scarlet screamed at the fair haired girl. She has loads of friends that are Gryffindor’s but Scarlet is the rudest Slytherin-like Gryffindor that Heaven has ever met. She just can’t get it through her head that Heaven is her boyfriend’s best friend and that will never change.

“I can’t just stop speaking to him. I’ve known him my whole life.” Heaven yelled.

Scarlet put her hands on her tiny hips and gave her a “Shut up before I slap you” look. But Heaven wasn’t worried about her slapping her because to be honest she wasn’t afraid of her but she was afraid but she would say to Nash.

“I’ll just tell him that you’re a liar!” Scarlet said.

Someone with dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes walked up behind Scarlet and a smile appeared on Heaven’s pale face.

“I hope you know that she is not a liar. She’ll try to lie to me to avoid telling me something but it doesn’t work.” Nash’s Irish accent spoke.

Scarlet turned around and looked at him for one moment and walked away down a corridor.

“You okay?” He asked.

Heaven nodded. “I’m fine. She was just trying to get me out of your life.”
He put his arm around her waist and said “No one can get you out of my life. You’re way too important to me.”

Heaven blushed and didn’t say anything.

It was moments like these that made her have butterflies in her stomach. She didn’t want to admit to him that she was slowly falling for him but not saying anything at all just made it even worst because deep inside him he knew and didn’t know what to do. They just knew each other that much.

He looked down at her and smiled. “Let’s go get some fresh air. How about going down to the lake?” He asked me. I nodded and they headed off to the Lake.

The sky was a bright shade of blue with the bright sunlight shining down on the grounds of Hogwarts. The grass was covered by the light blanket of snow. It was almost Christmas and that means a ball will be going any day now. The snow wasn’t as heavy as years before and that worried some of the teachers and the older students but it didn’t worry Nash and Heaven.

Once the both of them were down by the lake, Heaven looked at Nash, he had a worried look on his beautiful tan face..

“Hey, are you okay?” She asked him.

He nodded. “Yeah I’m fine.” He lied.

Something was bothering Nash but he wasn't ready to tell Heaven about it just yet until he for himself was sure.

Heaven knew that Nash had lied to her but she pushed it to the back of her mind, being a Slytherin it came easy to her. Most Slytherin’s she knew were like that and she thought it was a trait of being a Slytherin.

Nash and Heaven have known each other since they were both seven and they have been best friends ever since. They may fight but they will never grow apart no matter what happens.

Chapter Two | Dress Shopping

Later that evening Heaven and her friend Atlantica walked down to Hogsmeade to buy gowns for the Winter Ball. The sky was black only being lit by the full moon. Snowflakes were falling lightly from the sky onto a blanket of white on the ground. The roofs of all of the shops were beautifully covered with blankets of snow as well.

Heaven and Atlantica walked into a small but cozy shop. The walls of the shop were pure white with little lights of all different colors pointing at the walls. The floors were a dark wood and they were beautiful. At the end of the shop there were five dressing rooms. Both the Slytherin girls walked over to a clothes rack with gowns. Atlantica pulled out a mirror and fixed to bright red hair as she sat down in a pale pink chair next to the rack as Heaven was looking through the gowns for the perfect one.

"So she really said that to you?" Atlantica's high pitch Scottish accent asked. "She really said that she was going to tell Nash you're a liar?" She asked her. "But that's not the truth because you're the most honest Slytherin in the history of Slytherin-hood." Atlantica told her.

"Yeah she did." Heaven's soft Irish accent spoke. "But that's not the best part." Heaven told her. "Nash was standing behind her with his arms crossed when she spoke of it and I just had a smile on my face."

Atlantica looked shocked for a moment. "You mean that he was behind her when she said that? What did she do?" She asked Heaven.

Heaven smiled and said "She walked away down one of the corridors." there was joy in her voice. "So what do you think of this one?" Heaven asked showing her the big poofy, lacey yellow dress that was in her hand.

Atlantica shook her head. "No! Only a happy go lucky hippie of a Hufflepuff would be caught dead in that sorry excuse for a gown! It's terrible and should be burned!" She said loudly as Heaven was pointing to the two Hufflepuff girls listening to what Atlantica had to say.

"Yeah I went there now turn your little frizzy haired heads around and mind your own business." Atlantica said rudely. She was one of those people that didn't care what she said out loud or what people thought of her.

Heaven nodded and ignored the glares of the now mad Hufflepuff's. "You're right it's totally not my style, Lanny." She said putting the dress back on the rack.

Lanny stood up and walked over towards Heaven and looked through the gowns on the rack. "Here. This one is perfect for you and will make Nash be all knee wobbly." She said picking a sleek red gown with glitter scattered along the top of the gown. Lanny handed the gown to Heaven. "Hmm...now you need some shoes." Lanny told her and walked away to the shelves with boxes of shoes. "Now silver heels would look great with the gown because of the silver glitter." Lanny told her as she found a pair of silver platform heels and handed the box to Heaven.

"Thanks." was all Heaven had to say to her at the moment. "Who said that I want Nash to be all knee wobbly?" She asked Lanny.

Lanny walked away and found the gown she hid earlier today and showed it off to Heave. "You like?" She asked showing her the white and silver goddess-like dress. "Now I just need some shoes." She spoke.

"YOU?! Need shoes. You have thousands of pairs in the Dormitory." Heaven told her in shock. "Now answer my question."

"Yes I do need shoes and I'm going to get the same ones as you because they will look fab with my dress." She told her. "Okay, okay geez it's because you love him and if you try to deny now all hell will break lose. So don't." She told her as she walked up to the register. Heaven followed.

"I am not in love with him!" Heaven whispered in anger. "Don't ever say that again!!"

The girls walked out of the little shop and started their way back to the castle.

I hope you guys like it and as I speak chapter three is going to be finished in like an hour. :)

Chapter Three | Event Committee

December 20th, 2011 | 7:30am

"Why did we every sign up for this?" Lanny asked Heaven and Belle.

Belle looked at Lanny with a warm awake face. Her hair was very long, ginger and very curly. She sighed at Lanny. "Now it's not that bad. We get to choose songs today so be happy and let your voice be heard." Belle said in a perky annoying French accent.

Lanny looked at her blankly and half asleep. "I'm not in the mood!! It's seven freaking thirty in the morning and I'm not a morning person so don't be all perky and happy around me right now!" She said in a blan but angery tone.

Heaven looked at Belle and Lanny and turned away to listen to Ella Pearl, a seventh year Ravenclaw with pale blonde hair.

"ESCUSE ME!!" Ella bellowed in the small room. "If I could get your attention so we can get this done and over with and go back to sleep." the American girl told everyone.

"So the songs on the list so far are She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5, Born This Way by Lady GaGa, I Need To Know by Kris Allen, and I still need some more so please take a piece of parshment and a quill and write some songs down. Thank you. Remember muggle songs that you know only."

Belle took out a pink note pad and a quill with pink ink. She started to write down the following;

"TIMES UP!!" Elle bellowed in the small room. Lanny and Heaven didn't have anything because they didn't know what songs that they would want to play there and Ella didn't say that they all had to choose songs. The girls looked over on Belle's paper and saw she had a list full of songs.

"Please hand up the papers and we will listen to the songs and look them over to see if they will be chosen for the vote that all of the student body will do later today. Thank you for coming everyone. Don't forget that we have a meeting tomorrow at five in the morning." Ella told everyone that was leaving the room.

Lanny and Heaven ran to the Great Hall for some breakfast and sat down at the Slytherin table.

"Why does Belle always have to show off? I mean we're just as smart as her and she still has to show off." Lanny questions to Heav.

"Personally I have nothing against Ravenclaw's but I think it might be a trait. I don't think they do it on purpose though." Heaven said.

"A TRAIT?" Lanny nearly screamed out. "How can it be a trait I know that they're Ravenclaw's but isn't that more of a Gryffindor or Slytherin trait?" she asked her, her high pitched voice was quieter.

Heaven didn't anwser her.

Nash was walking towards the two Slytherin girls. He took a seat next to Lanny.

"Have you seen your girlfriend?" Lanny asked with a smirk on her face.

"No, what did you do to her this time?!" Nash demanded.

"No I didn't do nothing to her this time." Lanny told him. "It's just no one has seen her around in the Slytherin Common Room or the castle." She told him.

Nash signed. "It's just rumors." He told her.

"So you don't care about her at all?"

"HEY! Don't twist my words around." He said, getting a little angry.

Heaven just sat there listening to what they were talking about. She was very amused when Nash and Atlantica talked to each other. It was funny. They would always get into little bickering fights about Scarlet.

"I'm not." She said truthfully. "But have you seen her? I really have to talk to her about something."

"Yes. I have last night when she came to talk to me after Astronomy. She said that she was going to break up with me if I kept talking to you and Heaven." he said to Lanny looking at Heaven.

"Oh lovely!! WAIT!" Lanny said looking at him and Heaven. "What do I have to do with this?" she asked him.

"You're friends with Heaven and a couple of years ago you shoved Scars head in the toilet in Myrtle's bathroom when she punched Heaven. Do you remember that?" Nash looked at her.

A huge grin formed on Lanny's beautiful dark face. "Oh I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was so worth getting detention for." She said happily remembering the moment.

Chapter Four | Roses for my Beloved

"HEAVEN!!! COME HERE!!! NOW!!" Lanny screamed up to her.

Heave came running down the stairs from the girls dormitory. She looked at Lanny with her hands on her hips.

"Do you have to yell so loud?" Heaven asked her. "It is almost ten. The first years are trying to sleep."

Lanny shook her head. "I didn't yell I was screaming. There's a HUGE difference." she said. Heaven sat down next to her on the black leather couch. "There's a present for you." She told her handing her sixty-five red roses in a beautiful glass vase. "Isn't it beautiful." she said handing them to her.

"Who are the from?" She asked.

Lanny shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno. Alls it says is 'a Hufflepuff friend'" she told Heaven. "Heav, I think they're from Nash."

Heaven shook her head. "No! He has a girlfriend."

"Fine then I'll find out!" Lanny told her.

Atlantica got up off of the leather couch and walked out of the Common Room.

"Psst...NASH!!" Lanny knocked on the Hufflepuff Common Room portrait.

The portrait door opened and Nash walked out of it. "What do you want?" he asked

"Did you send flowers to Heav?" she asked.

"No. Why?"

"Because Heav got some red roses in as vase."

"Yeah. And who are they from?" Nash asked.

"That's why I'm here you idiot!" Lanny exclaimed.

"So does anyone have a thing for her?" he asked.

"Yeah. YOU!"

"N...n..no I don't!" he lied.

"Stop lying we all can see it. But Heaven can't."

"I get that. I'll stop lying. So why are you telling me this?"

"Because you need to get your girl."

"You mean Scarlet...right? Because I'm dating her and not Heaven."

"But you're Heaven's best friend and you love her" Lanny told him.

"But she doesn't have any feelings for me." he told her. "WHEN are you going to get that THROUGH your HEAD!?"

Oh wow! I love it and it's so funny how they both are so blinded to the truth! I can't wait for more!
