She was a little emotional but yes, it was great! I did have a second, he's a year and a half now. He didn't go - he stayed home with a relative as he was napping.

Happy Days of Potter to everyone!
As someone who literally played the audiobooks into the womb, I cannot personally confirm this 'next generation rejects what you love' trend 
My oldest (almost 13!) absolutely adores the Wizarding World - seeing Cursed Child and visiting the Harry Potter Exhibition in Tokyo have become core childhood memories. Right now he is deep in a phase of analyzing the film music (and video game music)... like how each piece sets the mood and how swapping out even one instrument can totally change the vibe 
My youngest, however... he could not care less he is more my science fiction kiddo (Star Wars and Terminator are his vibes  )
AND HUZZAH for advent calendars I DIY them each year using paper bags with holiday numbering and then wrap little treats inside.

Very much am both of them like Star Wars...just got to get them into Star Trek next have already master Lord of the Rings with both of them too.
