Brains and Brawn - Sa13+ My attempt at a poem about one of the many odd couplings: Draco and Hermione I don't own any of the characters, they all belong to the fabulous J.K. Rowling! *claps* The first two part are set in Hermione's perspective, but the third one is just an overview =) Hope you like it! -Amy xx Brains and Brawn Everytime I see him, My heart skips a beat, but keeping my feelings hidden, Is no easy feat. He struts around the castle, He's arrogant, it's true I just wish he would notice me, For love, my heart is due. But our lives are far too different, We resemble cheese and chalk, But I know if we got together, A different path I would walk. With my friends, I insult him daily, But at night, many tears are shed, And I just lie and make excuses, As to why my eyes are red. So I decided a new course of action, I'm going to take a stand, I shall ask him out and bring excitement, To a life that is far too bland. You can imagine my surprise, When he asked me out instead, I could hardly contain my happiness, but agreed with a nod of my head. The news spread fast, And everyone did shun, But I didn't care, because I knew I'd won. Who could have known it, Hermione Malfoy, Her dream came true, And she'd found the perfect boy |
