Oh, dear Merlin. Trust Apha to arrive when the room was beginning to get crowded. Just her luck. Well, might as well head in, right? She sighed, stopping short of wringing her hair as she cast her gaze around, settling only briefly on people as she leant against one of the walls as if trying to blend it - not that it was easy.

She just hoped this would begin (and therefore end) sooner rather than later. Crowds as big as this and Apha did not mix well.

"I know I don't, thanks." She smiled at her wickedly and took a small sip from her coffee cup. Yummy.

OH! And Syd was here now. Claws!Retracted.

Her blue eyes lit up as she looked up the the Department Head, the man in charge of it all. "Oh, I'm so excited," She said with an involuntary seductive voice, "I can't wait to see you in action, I head you are just great."

Hehehehe. He was just a wonderful man.

"Daemon. Daemon." Rob nudged him repeatedly. "Ten bucks says Estella hexes Aveira all the way to St. Mungos." Rob grinned and chewed on some popcorn. He couldn't wait to watch the 2 of them actually duel.

Rob frowned at her. He hated when people called him by his full name. "Actually, my goddess-like beauty has nothing to do with it. She seems like she would have a lot more to lose by losing." He said. Then Rob leaned forward, closer to her. "But, if you don't mind... I kinda have some money on the line." He grinned. "So... if you wouldn't mind losing..." He trailed off, shoving more popcorn into his mouth.

Rob quickly did the math in his head. It was around 2 galleons, like she said. "Well, if you're going to win...at least make it a good duel." If anything, he would probably lose his 2 galleons. Aveira would probably blast Estella across the room. He scratched his chin thoughtfully and ate some more popcorn.

Lily was about to take another sip of her coffee when she noticed sombody familiar arrive--it was Apha! She walked up to her and smiled.

"Hey Apha! Remember me?" She asked her with a grin. They had worked together before Lily was transferred to another department.

Grinning, Rob nodded. "It sounds like a plan. Like one of those movies you see about the underdog and winning and whatnot." He nodded his head, shoving even MORE popcorn into his mouth. "An' I woul' beat you in a secon'." Rob said, chewing and talking at the same time.

BATBATBATBATBAT went the eyelashes at Syd. She gave him her most entrancing of smiles and tucked some of that golden hair behind her ear.

"Oh, I see now." More for US. Well, she was going to WIN the tournament... just to prove to EVERYONE that she was woman enough for Syd, and Warren. And well, every other thing with an extra chromosome. Hehehehehe.

And Rob was betting for HER. Oh, that was just the sweetest thing ever. "I won't dissapoint." She cooed over at him, staring him down like he was some sort of fine steak.

She simply... pursed her lips at Daemon. She'd deal with that slice of man later.

Rob's grin grew even larger. "Alright then, so it's 7 galleons to the winner then, good sir." Rob chuckled, "Are you sure? I find myself quite beautiful." Rob conjured up a mirror and looked at himself. "Yep, quite beautiful. Like a modern day god. What do you think, Aveira?" Rob shot her a smile and set the mirror down. "Do you think that I'm as beautiful as a god?" He teased. Then he grinned at Estella. "Make it a good duel." He said with a chuckle.

Ha, it's like he relied on his wand to BREATHE. "Trust me," Daemon put his hand on Rob's shoulder. "You're not that beautiful." Daemon reached over and picked up the mirror, to see his own reflection. "I am."

Haha, Rob made him feel like a kid again.

Oh no, she heard.

Daemon caught her look and sank in his chair, turning away from her glare. He leaned over to Rob and whispered in his ear, so only he would hear.

"I stand by Aveira, and add a couple galleons."

Stand by your friends. YEAH.

Rob chuckled as Daemon whispered into his ear. Estella had given him the look. "Alright, so that puts us at 10 galleons for the winner." Please win, Estella... Rob thought to himself.

I'm not "Superior", I'm just... well, yeah, I'm superior." He teased her, sticking out his tongue like a school child. "And fierce is just...wait what?" He stopped midsentence, confused. Had she called him a girl? He had thought he heard her call him a chick. He drank his soda loudly and obnoxiously. "I can't wait for us to duel, Aveira. I'm sure it will be positively....shocking." His smile was a tad bit evil. He was looking forward to using a spell he had learned recently...

"Well, no problem Aveira." he managed to choke out. "She's right though Rob, any guy - *chucklechuckle* - would be LUCKY to have a gorgeous girl like you."

It would be interesting to see the two of them du- oh wait. Daemon just figured out it meant he HIMSELF would have to duel.
Cue sinking into chair.

Rob smirked at her and brushed his hair back. "Well, I don't know. I suppose you could find things... quite electric when we duel." He grinned at her.
"Well, thanks Daemon. I think that I am quite gorgeous." Rob flicked his wand. A blonde wig appeared on his head, the hair extending past his shoulder. With an exaggerated toss of his head, the hair went flying back and forth. "Am I still pretty?" He asked, reaching for the mirror.

Annabeth smirked. "Really?" Haha. Rob was funny.

"Y'all are ridiculous. The dueling is to improve our skills if needed, and practice for situations when we'll need to be defensive." She snorted. "Not to try and kill each other."
