Jack didn't realize that he had such a...following with the younger kiddos. Was he really that old that all of his classmates were having kids and sharing Quidditch with them? Woooooow. He knew it was true, but seeing all these kids know who he WAS...it made it a lot more REAL, that was for sure. OH MERLIN a child was running at him. He just managed to put out his hands and catch the girl as she JUMPED on his leg, and was going to say something nice to her about her Dad reading stories about him, whatever that meant...but oh, look, there she went, off again to the next pro. Hehe. Young kids had so much ENERGY. When did they all lose that spark? Jack needed it back - without the help of coffee and all that, obviously! "If you want, after you successfully summon your broom, you can get yourself settled on it...but NO taking off until we give the command," he added. He would HATE to have to kick some poor kiddo out because they got too excited and took off too soon...although as the others had said, they wouldn't really GO anywhere because of the charms and whatnot. "Don't want their arms to get tired holding the brooms out to the side, do we?" he chuckled softly to the fellow pros. GRIN. |
SEE?! Eventually, he'd have to find out the BOY'S name (Abey), but the broom was the MOST important business at the moment. At least they were in 'mates' terms and all. COOL. Now, remember how the broom was THE most important business to take care of right now??? RIGHT, when Lucas uttered a very LOUD 'Up!', the broom did come up, and hit his hand with such force that he HAD to say something! Like... "OW!" but quickly bounced a bit and smiled widely at anyone who was looking, "I'm okay, I'm okay, this happens allllll the time!" Literally, he was full of honesty, sugar, spice and everything nice. But hey! This wasn't the last time Lucas Jérémie Sawyer was gonna be trying his chances with this broom, so, very confidently, he lined up his hand with the broom and it FINALLY reached his hand all smooth-like, JUST in time for Jack to let them know they could get on it! Excellent, then! That's exactly what he did! And he didn't zoom off like he did with Ellie, nope, he listened this time. |
Abey could only grin at Junia calling Alice 'Prince West's Princess', because it was true. Both Alice AND West were complete royalty in little Abey's eyes, and actual heroes and everything. A lot of his heroes seemed to play Quidditch, actually. Maybe he would draw each of them a picture later, mhmm. Perhaps he was a little too preoccupied in thinking about what he might draw for Hassan, because the next thing Abey knew, he heard a smack and then a loud 'OW' from the boy right next to him. He gave a jolt, startled, and quickly looked around, realising what must have happened almost at once. The six year old was just that little bit concerned, and it probably showed on his face, but when the other boy, his mate, smiled and got his broom, that quickly melted away and Abey smiled TOO. So now they were allowed to get ON the broom, so said the Jack man, but not fly or anything, but it was a step closer to getting started and Abey was super excited. He mounted the broom, ready to go, and smiled back up at Junia. Did she see? Was she ready to go too? They were gonna FLY. |
