Autograph Tent - Teams A-H

The Autograph tent is where eager sports fans get to come in and meet their favorite professional Quidditch Player. If you enter the tent from the left side, you will find that it has been set up with long tables and signs with the team names and logos. Teams from the Appleby Arrows to the Holyhead Harpies are on this side of the tent and they are set up in alphabetical order so that you can find your favorite team or player easily. The players are sitting under their team signs behind the tables waiting to meet their fans, sign an autograph, or take a quick picture.

Once in the tent, follow the signs to the start of each team's lines. Once it’s your turn have your item out for the player to sign and your camera ready if you’d like a picture. When you are done with one player feel free to go to as many as you’d like while in the tent just follow the signs for the next line. Or head out to the other side of the tent to find even more teams and players happy to greet their fans. If you need some assistance, a Games and Sports employee would be glad to assist you. You can find them easily walking around wearing a name badge that says Magical Games and Sports.

Some of the featured professional Quidditch players and affiliates at this side of the tent include:

Appleby Arrows
Maximus James, Keeper
Dylan Montmorency, Seeker

Ballycastle Bats
Nia Newtington, Chaser
Jack Fritzera, Seeker
Kalla Ogden, Reserve Beater

Caerphilly Catapults
Esme Whittebrook, Chaser
Muirgen Tupper, Beater

Chudley Cannons
Rapunzel Black, Chaser

Falmouth Falcons
Oliver Greenwood, Chaser
Richard Turner, Chaser

Benji had been very excited about this day and now it was finally here. He would just have to wait for the first of the fans to come through, ready to meet their favorite players. He'd gotten an old buddy from His days at a Quidditch Magazine who worked freelance to take Photographs today.

This would be good and hopefully in a bit after he was done here he could meet up with Carrie. But for now he was much more focused on the task at hand, making sure things run smoothly and that the fans, as well as the players were happy and safe. His name badge was easily visible so he hoped that if anyone needed help they would find him, and if not then he just wanted to enjoy the event. He was geeking out a little, having always been a fan of the game. Even having played a bit in Uni.

Aurora was HERE. She'd managed to arrive early, even though leaving the house with a baby was a pain in the backside. There was so much to organise and shove into the changing bag... Luckily, her dad had popped over to help her get ready, since he wanted to come too...

But that didn't matter. Because here they were, looking for Felicity's daddy! Rora bounced Felicity on her hip, smiling as the seven month old giggled. "Right, Daddy should be in this tent, shouldn't he? We're going to go and say hi to him and the people he works with!" she cooed, walking down the row of tables towards the Falcon's... Now then, where was Richard?

_______

Quidditch!! Audric was a massive fan! And there was a good friend working here today, who he hadn't seen in a long time. He followed his daughter into the tent, his granddaughter's changing bag slung over his shoulder, following her to the same table. How convenient.

Anyway, he was here to see Xavier! And his son-in-law, he supposed. "'Rora, if you need me to look after Felicity at all whilst you look around just let me know." he said, laughing softly at the incredulous look on his daughter's face. Pfft. He was just offering.

Jack Fritzera, seeker for the Ballycastle Bats for the last - oh god, was it a decade already?! - was finally here and ready to sign autographs. Autographs weren't his favorite part of the job, but it always made him smile to see the kids light up about getting his signature. He didn't know why - it was just one big loop. This whole fame thing was really kind of weird to him still.

He wandered over to where the Bats were supposed to set up and kind of...stood there. Yes. He was here, now what? Just starting signing stuff?

For anyone that wants to play XD

It was finally the day. After a quick trip with Mariel yesterday, Victoria was feeling less stressed coming in today. Though she still had gotten here very early to recheck things and were making her second round when she saw one of her employees. Good he was on time, not that she didn't assume he wouldn't be.

Glancing around and smiling towards the players that were showing up and fans, Vic carried her professional smile. They were there to help so she wanted to make herself available if needed.

"Benji, is everything going alright so far? Have you made it to the other tent?" She hated just having him for two tents, but so far the lines for autographs weren't horrible. That would change soon though.

emjay 07-11-2014 01:25 AM

for anyone.. mentions everyone here so far

Esme had entered the tent from the wrong end. And, since C was near the beginning of the alphabet and she started at W, she had a long walk to get to her table. Something that only made her nervous as she maneuvered through the lines of fans already on that side.

She tried to plaster at least a small smile on her face. The brunette did love her fans, though she wasn't sure how many she had this being her first year up from the reserves. But she had a feeling that this was going to get overwhelming and she wasn't so sure she wanted to be here.

Finally, she was near the other end of the tent and she glanced at who she thought were the employees. They had nametags anyway. She gave them a small smile and nod. "Is this where I should.. ?" Grey eyes darted around, soon landing on the Caerphilly Catapults sign. Yep, this was the right place. She noticed only two names there. Well, at least Muirgen would be coming, she seemed to like this types of thing. But Esme didn't have a choice being one of the rookies.

She slid in at her spot, glancing at the Bats table next to hers. Oh.. that was.. Jack Fritzera, wasn't it? "Hello," she said, smiling pleasantly and attempting for cordial. She did recognize at least some of the players, playing against them, but he had been playing for quite a while for her not to know who he was. Alright.. time to sign some autographs, she guessed?

Oh yea Barny in the house! He swooped into the tent and looked around. Dancing a bit at the entrance. Was everyone pumped to be there? He was so PUMPED!

Spotting his teams sign he strutted his way over towards the player standing there. Good old Jack Fritzera! Putting his big batty hand up for a big ol' high five! Don't leaving him hanging Jackie boy.

Anna Banana 07-11-2014 01:53 AM

Ignore the '6th year Slytherin Prefect' on her picture. XD

Sierra Greingoth crossed one leg over the other as she adjusted herself in her seat. A meet and greet. Well, this was a first. Thank Merlin she no longer played for the Falcons. She knew of a certain guy that for sure would have tried to ruin this for her had she been sitting amongst them.

Never mind that now. She was a proud Harpy, her dream team to play for, and as far as she was concerned the Falcons could just stay on the opposite side of the tent. She looked around the tent and noted that one of the mascots, a fruit bat, was hopping around nearby. That thing seemed about as annoying as a...a...a Puffer. Heh. Old habits died hard.

sweetpinkpixie 07-11-2014 02:34 AM

SHE WAS HERE!

Wrapping her shawl around her a bit more tightly, but not enough to cover her special custom made t-shirt, Kurumi made her way towards the autograph tent she knew Selina would be at carrying a sizeable picnic basket with her. Yes, the dragonologist was well aware that there was a concession stand loaded with food and drink for her best friend to stuff her face at, but she also had an obligation to sit her and attempt to look official while she signed autographs and mingled with fans like herself, so these were just sort of things to help keep her in her seat. As long as she had things to nom on while she was here...she wouldn't leave.

Glancing at the signs as she walked, she was hit with a wave of guilt at having not thought about OTHER Hogwarts alumni she was sure to run into here. She was going to blame her raging hormones. Everything got blamed on that these days. It was a card she was willing to throw down whenever because it WAS TRUE. But there were TONS of people here that she knew, many whom she had lost contact with over the years...and that suddenly made her very sad. Almost teary eyed sad.

You know what else was sad? THERE WAS NO SELINA HERE! Which meant Kurumi was too late and she was already over at the concession stand eating.

Bowing her head to those present - oh Merlin, there was Sierra! - Kurumi clutched the picnic basket in one hand with her other hand on her tummy in front of the Harpies area. "Hello....Sierra...long time no see," she greeted her with a small smile. "Um...have you seen Selina?"

Anna Banana 07-11-2014 02:47 AM

Kurumi! <3

Out of the corner of her eye, Sierra caught someone bowing and turned her head to see who had arrived. That hair...that look...she knew that person. Didn't she? Oh, Merlin! It had been a while--a few years, at least. She and Kurumi Hollingberry had quite the...unique past.

She started to open her mouth to say hello to an old...well, friend might be pushing it...but Kurumi beat her to it. Kurumi had a habit of that--always beating Sierra in one way or the other. Grrr. "Hello, Kurumi," she said with a smile. Yes. A smile. Aging a few years and graduating Hogwarts had softened her a bit. She hook her head. "I haven't, no. She should be along soon if you wanted to wait, though."

Deezerz 07-11-2014 03:12 AM

Xavier Baltazar has arriiived!

BAM!

The former Falmouth Falcons' Beater, and now owner, looked around for his team. Oh, yeah HIS team. HIS people. Merlin, this felt great. Sure, he spends days watching practice and all that fun Quidditch junk, but all the other teams were here and they got to bask in the light of the Falcons.

Lucky folks they were.

Taking his shades off and tucking them inside his jacket pocket, Xavier glanced down at his son who wore an expression of amazement. "No running off without permission or you will get kidnapped and your mum with be terribly, terriiiibly mad and you will be grounded, okay?"

Cornelius look up at his father with starry eyes. QUIDDITCH. EVERYWHERE. HE HAD TO GO SAY HI TO ALL THE PLAYERS.

"Yes, pa'," the seven year old replied, intending to do no such thing. Ehehehe! "Do I get to sign autographs too? You're my dad, I'm your son, I'm half owner too." It wasn't a question. It was a right statement. He was half owner of THE BEST TEAM IN ALL EUROPE.

Someone dare say anything else and they'd get an extremely WET WILLY.

Cute. Cornelius was cute. Xavier ruffled his hair, about to explain that owning a team didn't work that way when his green eyes landed on his best mate he hasn't seen in years...

Text Cut: AUDRIC!!

It was different, you know, seeing a person face to face rather than as a small doll sized figure on the quidditch pitch. Kurumi had seen Sierra around quite a bit since she tried to make as many all Selina's matches so she could keep her statbook up to date using her own methods. She didn't entirely trust the people at the paper to keep as keen an eye on things as she did. She had more of a vested interest whereas they were just in it for the galleons.

"Oh, alright then," she nodded, glancing over her shoulder at the surrounding area and spotting nothing but mascots and the crowd...but not her red headed friend. "You looked good this last match, by the way."

She looked down at her basket that was slightly blocked from view by her tummy. She was tempted to just sneak one of the sandwiches she had in there. Selina wouldn't be able to tell if one of them was missing...

Sooo. Yeah. Iwin hadn't been fangirling before coming here..nope. Not at all.

But honestly. He totally had! He had his autograph book ready, and he was super excited to see everyone! He had been a Catapults fan since he was very young, and knowing that two of their players would be here?! He was happy. The chaser and the...seeker? Was it? He couldn't remember which players were coming, exactly. "'Ello--" he said in a friendly manner, but he eventually eyed the place. He wanted to chat but--he spotted Esme Whittebrook! The Chaser! He smiled gently and made his way over to her. She didn't exactly have anyone in line yet! Win!

"Hi--Miss Whittebrook--" he said with a slight blush. He pulled out his autograph book from his bag and began to fumble with the pages. "You're a lovely chaser--I was surprised you hadn't come out of reserves sooner--" he said, chuckling a bit and feeling less nervous. She was very pretty...but Iwin didn't feel nervous just because women were pretty. This one was pretty, a talented chaser...and..well...skills! "I've been a fan since I was younger, and I TOLD me' dad that new blood would be good for the team--" he said, ruffling his hair a bit as he glanced around..eyeing some of the other players that he wanted to get.

littledhampir 07-11-2014 03:48 AM

Isobel's first stop was the autograph tent. She didn't really want to sign any autographs, though she wasn't necessarily opposed to the idea, she just wanted to be there for the social aspect. She wanted to talk to people, fellow Quidditch players and fans alike.

Isobel tried not to look too excited as she made her way into the autograph tent. She was a grown woman, but she still got excessively excited about some things. Like Quidditch. This meet and greet was something she'd been looking forward to since the second she'd found out it was happening. But she was keeping that excitement on the inside as much as possible. She had a cheerful smile on her face but that was it. She looked nice, and approachable, so that was okay.

Her team's booth was toward the middle of the tent. So she would have to walk pretty much the same distance no matter which entrance she went in. She chose one without knowing which end she was at, the entrance had simply been closest to her. The first team she saw was the Appleby Arrows, so that gave her a pretty clear idea of where she was. Isobel continued down the tent, smiling cheerfully at the people she passed - those she recognized as well as those she didn't. Finally she came to a stop by a table decorated with a banner depicting the Holyhead Harpies. There were a few people there, a teammate and a girl she felt like she recognized but Isobel couldn't place her finger on why.

"Hello," she greeted them cheerfully. She was in a very cheerful mood.

Barny the Fruitbat 07-11-2014 04:03 AM

Some other people were there. Wonderful, they were all coming to see him. Hehe

Moving away from his teams table and decided to go high five the other teams. Keeping a big batty hand up he ran down the length of the tables and then switched hands to run back.

Seeing a few children he stopped and danced around waving at them. Helllllllo children. Hello!

Hey Ju 07-11-2014 04:14 AM

Muirgen was so EXCITED to be there!! She could probably be easily mistaken by a hyper fangirl who wanted to meet ALL her idols, but actually, she was going to be sitting on the other side of the tables that day AND she would be doing the signing! That was LUSH!!

"Hello!!! Hi!!" The Welsh woman happily greeted every single person as she walked pass them and they looked at her. HELLO WORLD!!! The only thing that saddened her a bit was that the Irish wouldn't be there that day.... siiiiigh. At least not that she knew of. It would be LOVELY if they just decided to show up!!!!!!

When she finally reached the Catapults' table, she grinned brightly at Esme, who already had a fan talking to her. "Hello!" She greeted both her friend and the guy she didn't know as she settled down on her seat. She also smiled and chuckled at Barny. What a funny little thing!

Merlin... was that Cornelius? Audric blinked at the child a little, suddenly realising exactly how long it had been... jeez.

He beamed at Xavier, adjusting the changing bag on his shoulder as he was clapped on the shoulder. Ages, yeah.. "Too long! I'm a granddad again." he said, a maaaaaaassive smile on his face as he nodded his head towards Felicity. Though he was pretty sure Xavier would have known that... since Richard had had some time off when she was born. Not the point. He was proud.

Watching as many more people were coming in and getting settled to line up to meet their favorite players, Victoria smiled at the excitement tone that was going through the tent. Then she noticed a man coming in with his children. She recognized this man right away and she couldn't feel anymore nervous. Goodness she needed to control her own fangirl nerves. Though she knew the man well and had sent owls with her job often she had never official met him.

"Mr. Baltazar, I hope you have found everything in order." Keeping her professional tone even though inside she was a ball of nerves and just wanted to ask him a thousand fan questions, but her position as Quidditch Division Manager she couldn't just act like the typical fan. Oh and she hadn't even introduced herself, goodness she was a typical fan wasn't she? "I'm sorry, Victoria Maroon. If you are in need of anything today, please don't hesitate to ask. If I'm checking on other areas, any of my team will be able to assist you." She pointed towards her name badge to show him how to find the Games and Sports employees.

Moving around the tent Victoria made her way over to the Harpies, it looked like some fans were already coming to greet the women and Vic smiled sweetly to them all. Moving to one of the players she had recognized, "Hello, have you found everything alright? All the quills on the table for signing?" She glanced at the table to make sure. "If you need anything through the day please feel free to find myself or another from my team. They will be happy to help."

She did have a personal reason to be there though. Bart was very upset about not being able to be at the event, and she thought maybe getting some autographed items might help and what teenage boy wouldn't want autographs and pictures of the Harpies. Getting a team picture out of her bag she set it on the table. She had a few perks when it came to her job and getting the team pictures were one of them. "If you don't mind, my son is unable to attend being at school and I know he'd just love your autograph." It wasn't his Warriors, but he's be excited she was pretty sure.

What was he doing? Esme watched the Ballycastle mascot a moment as he carried on through the tent. Sure, he was fun for the fans, but it was a little too crowded in here for his antics. Still, she stuck out her hand when he passed it by to give him a high five as he ran down the tables, but she was not doing it again as he made the turn to come back down again. She was thankful their own team mascot was slightly more subdued, not that he was here today anyway.

Trying to ignore the bat as he really wasn't helping her nerves, grey eyes flickered around the tent, watching more people come in. No one seemed to want any of the Catapults autographs yet, or more specifically hers as she was the only one there so far, which was fine. Maybe even expected really as she was new in a way. She did catch notice of a recognizable woman as she walked in and said hello. "Hello," Esme said, with a small smile, to return the greeting. Harpies Chaser, she was sure.. VonHue, right? Yeah, it wasn't long ago that they had a match with them and that girl was a fierce one for sure.

She was soon snapped out of her reverie as she heard her name. Oh.. a fan? "Hi.." she smiled at the man as he opened up his autograph book. "Oh, you can call me Esme.." Really, she was just a person too, no need to be so formal.. this thing was to connect with fans on a personal level anyway, right? And then the 24 year old soon felt that familiar warmth over her cheeks, knowing that they were certainly flushed red as he laid compliments on her. "Well, thank you," she said, tucking a short lock of hair behind her ear. "That's very kind of you to say.." And he knew her from the reserves? He must really be a fan.. but not one of the stalkerish types, right? She eyed him a minute though she she tried to relax into a gracious smile. "You've been a Catapults fan for some time, then? They must be your favorite.." Or she could assume, even if he'd lie to her to flatter her.

She just reached out her hand to offer to sign the man's book when she heard a very cheerful, very familiar voice at her side. Oh thank Merlin! Having her friend and teammate with her made her feel slightly less nervous about this whole thing, though she knew the Beater was slated to play some game with the fans at some point as well. "Muirgen.. hi!" Esme returned the other woman's grin as she took her place in the seat next to her. "We've got ourselves a Catapults fan here.." She smiled a bit at the man, whose name she'd find out in a minute so she could sign his book. Certainly he'd want Muirgen's autograph too? Or she might rethink that whole stalker thing..

Oh yea Barny in the house! He swooped into the tent and looked around. Dancing a bit at the entrance. Was everyone pumped to be there? He was so PUMPED!

Spotting his teams sign he strutted his way over towards the player standing there. Good old Jack Fritzera! Putting his big batty hand up for a big ol' high five! Don't leaving him hanging Jackie boy.

Nia Newtington grinned widely as she entered the autograph tent, taking a moment on route to the Ballycastle Bats' table to acknowledge and wave at her former fans and teammates as she passed the Harpies. They were still dear to her heart, after a lifetime of supporting them and a full nine seasons playing for them.

But the black and red was where she was at now, having finally switched sides and made her father, the famous former Bats' Keeper and ex-Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports, Theodore Newtington, very happy. "Go Barny!" she cheered on her mascot (totally the best one in the league, by the way), before slipping in to her chair next to Jack. "How's it going?" she asked the Seeker. "Quill and smile at the ready?"

Iwin was waiting patiently for Esme to sign his book when he spotted the red hair of Muirgen Tupper. Beater! Right, now he remembered, duh. She seemed to be a great mood, which made Iwin grin boyishly at her. "Hi, Miss Tupper--" he said gently, ruffling his hair again. Yikes, two of the prettiest ladies on the team--HERE. Heh, he couldn't help but notice the good looks..he was male. But he would play nicely for now. Plus he was a bit nervous on top of everything ...so ...yeah...

Esme. Okay. Yeah. He would call her Esme. She was super friendly, too, which only made his brown eyes glint more. "No problem. Team needs all the encouragement! I wish more of the team was here--though--then I might just faint--" he teased lightly. He really would be fangirling if the whole Catapults team was here, though.

"They are my favorite. Since I was younger. Me' dad and mum would always take me to the games...and my brothers.." he grinned just thinking about those times. "And I also never miss a game now." Season tickets, eh? He turned his steady gaze to Muirgen and smirked. "And I'd like your autograph, too." Please? Hehe. Maybe that sounded a bit commanding, but he added in a friendly smile after that..his voice was so serious! Thank God it didn't do that shaky thing that happened to his brother when he was nervous. He ruffled his hair from habit--again--and just sighed a bit. Right. Be calm, Iwin. "Name's Iwin, yeah--" he added, noticing she was waiting to hear it. "Iwin Howell--" their family had been donating to the team for years, so maybe they'd be familiar, but maybe not? Who knew.

...well then it hit him. he was with CATAPULTS PLAYERS. And he almost squee-ed but that would be a very annoying and girly thing to do. So no.

Yes. Call back the search party. Oliver Greenwood had arrived!

Late and in styyyyle. ..But late and in style could NEVER be as stylish as the suit he had decided to don to this awesome event. Oh no.

Having picked up a snack along the way, Oliver approached the group that had already formed and took a look around, spotting many a familiar face.. Aurora and her babby, d'aww... Cookie!Girl.. various Hogwarts peeps.. and there was mister-owner-man-dude.

“Hey bossman.. man.” Oliver greeted, sidling up to the old dude who was talking to another old dude (hehe), whom received a beamy smile. This was AWESOME. Like, totally up Oliver's attention seeking street..

All they needed now was the fanz.

Edward walked into the first autograph tent. He was going to wander around and fill some time. It sure was interesting to see all of those things going on in the middle of London. It seemed like a well put together event and he was going to just wander over to a table. His favorite team was in the other tent. It was then he saw something that caught his eye. It couldn't be. She was too young, but the look was unmistakable.

He walked over to the Bats' table to talk to the young lady sitting there. He waited his turn and stood in front of her and just sort of stared, his mouth partially opened.

Nia wasn't exactly used to people just standing there and staring at her, but after a decade as a Pro, she was at least somewhat accustomed to it. She offered the guy a relaxed and cheery wave, and picked up her quill in her left hand. "You got something you want me to autograph, or did you want a photo?"

Edward Penguin 07-11-2014 04:45 PM

Edward was just staring when she spoke. The voice was there too. Even after his travels, he could still remember. Ummm...
