Tom Felton promotes, discusses new character in 'The Flash' at San Diego Comic-Con
Tom Felton headed to the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend to participate in promotion for his upcoming gig, the third season of CW's The Flash. The Harry Potter actor joined the entire ensemble cast of the show, including costars Keiynan Lonsdale, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Grant Gustin, Candice Patton and Carlos Valdes.
Tom admitted during the panel on Saturday that there wasn't much he could reveal about his new character, CSI Julian Dorn, except that he would have a difficult relationship with The Flash himself, Barry Allen (played by Gustin), throughout the season.
Tom and The Flash cast participated in numerous interviews and junkets on Saturday at Comic-Con, including with Access Hollywood, IMDb, Entertainment Tonight, and Entertainment Weekly, among others. That can be viewed here.
Season three of CW's The Flash premieres this October in the U.S.

poor Flash cast, they look to be freezing on that IMDB stage
our beloved Tom seems to be having quite a ball on the show, and he should be, given the amazing production that is The Flash . i really REALLY hope he can score a Captain Cold / Jay Garrick deal, where his character can appear across the other DCTV shows (Arrow, Legends, Supergirl)
i know Tom is an old hand at playing the press, so when he says he doesnt know who or what is the eventual progression of his character its probably not very true . i do have a solid theory at who his character is eventually gonna be revealed as:
SPOILER!!: spoiler theory
its confirmed in the press release and the official season 3 trailer that this season has got something to do with ALCHEMY. the leading theory right now is that Tom is going to be playing Doctor Alchemist, who has the power of transmutation-- yeah as in the power of the Philosophers Stone, which when applied in scientific theory, is able to manipulate atomic particles and change the properties of matter, such as turning lead into gold.... or maybe a speedster into sheet rock.
also given how this show loves its cheesy, tongue in cheek-ness, Tom is a famous alum of the Potter franchise, a Flash villain from the comics actually has a Philosophers Stone that he uses to fight The Flash with, so its a no brainer that the producers would sign Tom for this specific character. yeah yeah? who's with me?
