David Heyman updated a bit about the progress of the
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series - more specifically film one - recently with U.K. publication The Telegraph while promoting the release of his new movie,
Paddington.
Heyman, producer of all eight
Harry Potter films and now the three new installments for
Fantastic Beasts, commented on J.K. Rowling's script and the fact that they will begin production next year with director David Yates. The 'early stages' comment comes from Sunday evening's London premiere of
Paddington, which he attended.

"Jo [Rowling] has written a wonderful script."
