Several
Harry Potter alum and a new cast member of
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them were nominated at this year's British Independent Film Awards.
Harry Potter actors Julie Walters (Brooklyn) and Helena Bonham Carter (Suffragette) will go head-to-head once again in the Supporting Actress category; while father and son Brendan Gleeson (Suffragette) and Domhnall Gleeson (Brooklyn) will face off in the Supporting Actor category.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's Colin Farrell got a Lead Actor nomination for his work in the dark comedy,
The Lobster.
