| | | 'Fantastic Beasts' film screenings running at Harry Potter Studio Tour this November
Warner Bros Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter will host film screenings of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from November 18-20, 2016, and the paid packaged screenings will run at £145 per person. More information on how to order, and what is included in the package, can be read below. This November, fans will be able to watch the highly anticipated adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander in a magical location, as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London launches special screenings of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Opening on 18th November, the all-new adventure marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, inspired by one of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbooks, and stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, along with Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol and Colin Farrell.
Filmed at the production home of the Harry Potter film series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
Each evening from Friday 18th November to Sunday 20th November, visitors to these special screenings will begin by exploring the authentic Harry Potter sets, props and costumes that are showcased at the Studio Tour. Highlights include the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore's office, the Weasley kitchen at The Burrow and the iconic Platform 9 ¾ that houses the original Hogwarts Express locomotive. After experiencing green-screen technology flying a broomstick over London just like the Harry Potter cast, visitors will receive complimentary hot food, drinks and Butterbeer in the Backlot Cafe.
Visitors will also be able to see Newt Scamander’s original costume, magical case and authentic wand from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as they are displayed in the Studio Tour lobby for a limited time to celebrate the cinematic release.
On completing the tour, visitors will be able to grab a drink and snack to enjoy during the screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The film will be introduced by special guest Pierre Bohanna. Bohanna was Head Prop Maker on all eight Harry Potter films and recently continued his work as Head Prop Maker on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Screenings of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will take place at the Studio Tour on the 18th, 19th and 20th November 2016 from 4pm.
Tickets must be pre-booked at www.wbstudiotour.co.uk. The package includes the following:
