The Duelling Tournament had captured his attention since the moment he'd heard about it, so naturally he had signed up for it. It didn't even matter to him that he was only a first year and had barely learnt the most basic of spells.

So when Abey's alarm clock went off the day of his first duel, he was awake at once, scrambling for his wand before running straight out of the dormitory; he'd slept in his clothes the night before.

"It's TIME to DUEL!"
