Comfort

Niko had never been mistreated at Winterhaus, but he had also never thought of it as much of a place of comfort, and that was without even having anything else to compare it to. He had spent his entire life so far living in the children’s home.

All that had changed. He now found himself in a completely different country, living in a big house with a man named Jamie and a man named Caspar and a girl named Pippa. Already, the house and the people had started to feel right. They had started to feel like comfort.

Like home.
