Audio: Harry Potter cast & crew at Deathly Hallows: Part 2 NYC press conference
Harry Potter actors Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, and Matthew Lewis, as well as screenwriter Steven Kloves, director David Yates, and producers David Heyman and David Barron discussed their work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, their characters, the 3D aspect of the finale, the epilogue, and key moments.
Of particular note were: Tom Felton revealing three alternate endings for the Malfoys filmed for Deathly Hallows: Part 2 but not used in the final cut; that Emma Watson will be attending Oxford University in the UK this fall for her third year, and back to Brown in her fourth and final year; how terrifying it was for Matt to work against Ralph Fiennes in the Hogwarts courtyard showdown; and of how daunting it was for Rupert to film Fred's death as it it haunting reminded him of how he would feel had it been his own real-life brother.
That, and of Heyman confessing that he regretted not splitting Goblet of Fire in two movies, and a couple of deleted scenes Yates will add to the DVD/Blu-ray for Deathly Hallows: Part 2 including more of Harry and Aberforth's chat, and Ron and Hermione at Shell Cottage can be read and heard below. Please note that the only audios currently available are of Emma, Rupert, Matt, Tom, Heyman, and Barron. • In that 30 Pages of ootp he wrote, it included a heartfelt convo between Petunia and Harry about Lily
• Kloves first wrote Snape's death in the shrieking shack but Yates wanted something more visually appealing so it was moved
• Kloves said the most difficult scene to adapt was the time turner sequence in poa, and spent weeks with Cuaron to film it
• Now @emwatson up, Described the final shot being filmed as jumping into the unknown, with the trio escaping the ministry
• Emma said Dan Radcliffe is so ballsy to be on stage, and loves singing and would consider it. de-stresses by listening to her ipod & walking

I'm kinda glad they didn't split anything til the end. I miss some of the side plots, but I feel like DH is just so chunky, too partitioned. It didn't flow well. And where would they have split GoF and OotP?
I've got to say if they would have split GOF in to two it would have been wonderful no doubt but they didn't and if your not satisfied then go Read the book! Btw great interview <3 Rupert! I hope he does something after this HP craze like Emma,Dan and Tom he seems to be the only one Not doing anything to my knowledge...and it makes me sad:sevribbon:
Of course every movie from GoF to DH could be split in 2 and be AMAZING...but as it goes, Hollywood/production always has a way of screwing something up, this way we can blame lack of time for details, and have 8 WONDERFULLY MAGICAL movies! (can u really imagine if there were 11 Harry Potter movies, it would be a joke, not the AMAZINGLY perfect fit set EVER created!) hehe ok I'm done <3 HP4L
