SPOILER!!: Hanna! <3

"Hello Professor," she greeted, joining her and a man she didn't know. She hoped he wasn't there to replace her or anything. "H-hello..." she greeted him. As she went to set her things up, she heard Professor Stewart mention a missing fountain pen. "A lot of things have been going missing this year. I wonder if your fountain pen is with them?"

It was the last gift her father had ever given her and now it was lost. Kay tried not to feel too devastated, at least not at that moment. The kiddos were now assembling and the first was Hanna. “Ah, hello, Ms. Newton. I’ve heard about that. These are rather unfortunate situations but I don’t suppose by chance you’ve seen the pen on your way over here? It’s silver and my first name is etched onto it.’’

Grumbling internally, and sort of externally too, and also eternally, Abra made his way out to the ground where the Muggle Studies lesson was set to take place. He made sure to quit said grumbling before he got close to the professor and the unfamiliar guy beside her, and instead offered a strained smile. "Hello Professor Stewart, and, erm... hello..." He just about stopped the words 'other person' from passing his lips, feeling like that would be a tad impolite.

Coming to a halt, Abra took a seat on one of the tree stumps and eyed the equipment that had been set out. What was all THAT stuff for? Well, some kind of sport, obviously, but what a funny shaped bat that was, assuming that that was what it was.

Fortunately, it was a few weeks from December which meant that the worst of the cold was not upon them all as yet. “Hello, Mr. Botros,’’ was Kay’s reply with somewhat of a forced smile. That pen was still on her mind; it was one of her most precious belongings. She completely missed the looks the Lion was giving the equipment and gear.

SPOILER!!: Lucas! <3

But, that wasn't the only thing he didn't like about this lesson.

Approaching the spot with the tree trunks and the, uh, stranger, he finally spotted the items that were near Stewart's feet and....... he paused. Stopped. Right there. On the tracks. His eyes widened as he looked over all the items, making sure he wasn't dreaming this. No. No no no.

They were doing SPORTS?!

He..... uh, let out a small groan. Whether it was loud enough for people to hear or not, he didn't know. All he knew was that this looked a lot like physical activity and he..... wasn't happy. Sure, now he understood why this was outside and not inside but that didn't mean he had to be happy about it. It was cold! Didn't that make it worse?

.........

Right. Professor. "Uh, I mean, hey Professor. And, uh, hello? Hi." He gave the two of them a small smile - mostly for the Professor because he knew her - before going to sit on one of the tree stumps.

What was that? Kaysha tilted her head in the direction of the low sound to see one Lucas Dakest. “Hello, Mr. Dakest. What that you making that…’’ She paused to think of how to describe it. “Groan?’’ It could have been because from what she recalled from terms ago, the boy wasn’t fond of sports. It was her hope that one day this might change.

SPOILER!!: Chloe! <3

She hugged herself (for warmth not to keep her hands busy) as she approached the Muggle Studies area. Oh, SPORTS. It would be good to be active and keep her mind off things. "Hello, Professor. Hello, professor's guest."

“Ms. Kettleburn? Are you alright?’’ Chloe did not look like herself. Oh! And she forgot to return the greeting in her concern. “Good morning, to you.’’

He looked at his teacher and gives her a small smile before talking in a slightly quiet voice. "Morning Professor." As he finishes he turns to the other person and gives him a small smile too. "Good um morning sir." With that he turns and goes to the others.

“Good morning, Mr. Mitsue,’’ the Ravenclaw was now greeted. At the same moment, Kay hopped to her feet and began digging out everything that she had kept in her satchel: quill, notebooks, essays…

SPOILER!!: Stasya! <3

Maybe it was all psychological, as she also liked to pretend that her grandparents (and probably Professor Baldvinsson wherever he was now) would be proud of her for not letting something as silly as winter bother her.

The presence of a stranger had piqued her curiosity as she’d stopped not far from where Chloe was hugging herself, giving the head girl as well as the others who had arrived before her a smile before addressing the adults. That suggestion regarding the professor’s fountain pen was just as possible as anything else, too.

“Hello Professor Stewart, and…?” She had given them both a smile, but it was hard to know how to greet someone she didn’t know. Since she didn’t like non-personal greetings.

Now that everything was emptied and all the zippers were open (even the compartments that held nothing at all), Kay upended the satchel. “Hello, Ms. Dalgaard-Volkova,’’ she said, giving the satchel a vigorous shake. Unfortunately, no fountain pen fall out.

Movies. Movies were a huge part of his life and the boy was still very upset over the loss of his Netflix account. That really was his biggest complaint, the lack of wifi and the internet.
The rest? well, he was not a fan but he had (not that he would admit this to anyone) become used to all the weird ticks and tocks of this place.
Hefting his bookbag onto his shoulder, Maxie entered the classroom and nodded to Propfessor Kaysha - his usual greetingfor every professor - and took up a seat near the back.

“Good morning, Mr. Anderson-Belfort,’’ Kaysha said warmly, despite the great disappointment washing over her. It did seem very likely that her pen was taken. Perhaps she had left it in her office? No… she was very certain it had been packed and she even remembered doing it.

Nothing looked like something he was familiar with.

Rubbing his shoulder again he began to join the others that had assembled for class. He realized he was earlier than he figured with the way his week has been going. He stopped ready to greet Professor Stewart when he noticed someone else standing with her. "Hello Professor. Hello Sir." He was ready to get class started.

That was it. Kay was completely giving up looking for her pen now. The gathering for her class had gotten bigger and it was approaching 10 AM, the time she usually began the morning lessons. “Hello, Mr. Dooley.’’

SPOILER!!: Eamon! <3

Why did the professors insist on outdoor lessons? Of course it wasn't yet cold enough for frostbite but definitely a few notched above comfortable and this Hufflepuff was not for it. But that didn't matter. If they were outdoors there was probably good reason for it, yeah? Maybe? Professor Stewart wasn't crazy. He was sure of that. So as he trotted down to the space where class was supposed to be, he rubbed his arms in a good effort to keep warm.

Quickly, he found the space, tree stumps and all, noting a very unfamiliar face. Another good and proper adult. Mildly distracted by this newcomer as a red hint rose in his cheeks, he mumbled a "hello Professor," and quickly moved past the two, not even spotting the equipment laid out by her feet. There were other distractions here. Grabbing a spot near the center, he pulled his robes around him tighter and glanced around at everyone else that was already here.

Was it time to start yet? We're cold.

The weather affected everyone differently, it seemed. Whereas some, including herself, didn’t seem that bothered, some were. It was certainly a good thing this was the last lesson for this year to be held outdoors. “Mr. Macnair, hello.’’ The red cheeks weren’t unnoticed. Physical activity would help him warm up, yes?

She was totally clueless about, including the other adult.

"Hello, professor, unknown person," she greeted cheerfully. What? It seemed he was with the professor, so he had to be okay.....right?

“Hello, Ms. Calrissian,’’ Kay said warmly. She had now moved on to repacking her belongings. Unknown person? She grinned. Adi was sure to introduce himself soon.

Daisy then made her way to one of the seats and sat down.

“Ms. Swann,’’ Kay said, straightening up as she was done with her task. It amused her that some of the kiddos called Adi 'Sir'. Then again, it was out of politeness that they were doing it.

SPOILER!!: Zoryn! <3

So fortunately for everyone, Zor had been much more pleasant in MS lessons this year. Apparently having a piece of stale bread as a teacher did a whole number to teach you gratitude. Sort of.

"Hi Professor," she greeted Stewart just as she walked in, before she noticed an unfamiliar face. "Uh, who are you?" she was VERY unimpressed. Gave him a look up and down. Before realizing what this must've been. "OOOOHHHH you must be Professor Stewarts boyfriend," which made this lesson MUCH more interesting. Instead of learning whatever it was they were about to learn, they could just vet the boyfriend instead!!!!!!

"Gotta say Professor, he's a little young for you...." But well done! Zoryn didn't think Stewart had it in her tbh.

“Hello, Ms. Spinnet,’’ Kay said, still somewhat surprised at the change in attitude she had been receiving from Zoryn. Still, it was welcomed and she smiled at the girl. That smile faded as quickly as it came so now the woman was peering sternly at the Lion. “Manners, please. Adi is here to assist with the lesson, nothing more.’’ One more word about Adi being her boyfriend and Kay would have Zoryn polishing the helmets until they gleamed.

When he got close enough to spot the bats, balls and other stuff though.....?

Nope, he did not want to be here.

"Professor......" He stopped by the others and clutched at his stomach. "I - I think I ate something bad......" Ow. Poorly tummy. Let me go, please.

Maxton received a concerned gaze. “Is it bad, Mr. Carden?’’ Surely it couldn’t have been because Maxton had made it all the way out here when he could have just skipped the lesson altogether… “Have a seat and we’ll see it it gets worst.’’

'Adi!!,' she exclaimed, immediately regretting...I mean..sorryy,Mr Rahman!!,' she greeted politely. 'We met at Scamader Zoo over Summer..I was with my sister Laila..,' she said.

“Hello, Ms. Parker.’’ Kay’s mind was once again on her missing pen. Her precious pen… Oh! Kaira knew Adi? This was news to her.

“Good morning to you as well, Ms. Ashby,’’ Kay responded warmly. “Have a seat.’’ Help he find her pen possibly. Maybe it had fallen in the vicinity in which she stood? The woman moved away from the tree stump and started to look, her eyes focused on the ground.

"Hello Professor!" he greeted cheerily before his eyes landed on the guest. "And hello, Sir," he offered his hand to the man (Adi) before taking a seat on a stump. Jackson wondered what Professor Stewart had up her sleeve today.

Kay paused from her scan of the ground to grin. “Not quite, Mr. Thomas, but you’ll find out what it was soon enough.’’

That and the newcomer that was standing beside their professor. "Hello, Professor Stewart," she smiled brightly in greeting. Shifting her gaze onto the man she didn't know she greeted him with a smile also. "Hello, Sir." Now who was he and what did he have to do with the lesson? He wasn't here to get rid of Stewart, was he? Rylee was going to be politely keeping an eye on him until she knew exactly why he was here.

“Hello, Ms. Prichard.’’ Kay gave up looking for the pen so that she was able to give Rylee her attention. “Have a seat, we’ll get started in a moment.’’

SPOILER!!: Tina! <3

She was mostly here out of loyalty to Professor Stewart, one of the few people in this school she (sort of) trusted... that and Muggle Studies was one of the least chaotic classes at this school. No potential for spells gone wrong, no scary creatures, no senile professor... that was always nice! Add to that an outdooor lesson that didn't require uniforms, and Tina had a pretty good feeling about this class!

She came dressed for sport, just like the class notice said, wearing a turquoise jogging outfit, a black jacket. and plain black trainers. She jammed her hands into her jacket pockets for warmth as she made her way toward the group.... just in time to overhear part of the comments made by a girl (Zoryn) who arrived not long before she did, a girl Tina immediately recognized as that loudmouthed Gryffindor who started the lava craziness in transfiguration. She frowned, rolling her eyes. Could she just... not? This was shaping up to be a fun class without any added shenanigans from Lava Girl. Honestly, did she think it was her job to cause chaos in every class or did her mouth just operate faster than her brain? Oh, what she wouldn't give for a good silencing charm right about now!

Tina was so flustered that it took her a minute to docus on her surroundings. The first thing she noticed was the weird-looking bats; they almost looked like beater's bats. Did muggles have a sport similar to quidditch? She didn't really keep up with muggle sports, but it would be neat if they did! "Hello, Professor Stewart!" she greeted with an uncharacteristically bright smile... a smile that faded when she saw the man with the professor. "Hello..."

Who was this guy?! And what was he doing here? Granted, Tina had only been at Hogwarts for a few months, but she'd learned from a very reliable source that strangers showing up at the school usually meant trouble! Was this guy from the Board of Governors? Was he one of Julian Scrimgeour's cronies in disguise, come back to take the school? She wouldn't be surpised, after the polyjuice incident in charms... Tina kept her eyes on the professor and mystery guest as she took a seat on one of the tree stumps. Until she got some information about the guest, she wasn't going to let her guard down!

“Hello, good morning, Ms. Dantes.’’ Kaysha smiled. “Are you looking forward to the lesson?’’ Tina was one of the kiddos that excelled at Muggle Studies.

How much longer?!

Adi could hardly wait to get started with this lesson. When Stewart had contacted him for help with it, he had immediately jumped at the opportunity (after ensuring that his schedule was free, of course. He was a SUPER busy guy). The two only knew each other from a particular Muggle sports club where Adi was one of the coaches. Adi shifted his eyes as movement caught his eyes. Awesome! The first student was here! And there was another… and another. It was time to get this thing started!

The guy responded to each one of the students as they rolled in. There were polite but bright greetings for Hanna, Abraham, Lucas, Chloe, Malachi, Patrick, Maxie, Eamon, Daisy, Ashleigh- Marie, Jackson (whose hand was shook in a strong grip), Rylee, Tina (even though he thought she was looking suspiciously at him.

For the ones that seemed to be asking his name like Stasya and Sterling he gave them the same reply. “The name’s Aditya Atreyu- Rehman.’’ Sometimes, there would be a bounce or two from him. It was exciting meeting all these youngsters. Not that he was old. Heh.

And who was this disrespectful person? Adi look at Zoryn up and down right back. “I suggest you be respectful to your professor,’’ he told her, just a hint of amusement in his otherwise serious voice. “Myself as well but just so you know, I’m happily married to my husband.’’ He absently twisted his wedding band as he thought of just how much some teens had an attitude.

A sick kid? He would let Stewart take care of that. In any case, there was a familiar face he knew. Adi grinned. “Hey, Kaira! I remember you. Your sister doing alright?’’

Ten AM meant it was time to get started. At this point, Kay was used to closing the Muggle Studies classroom door but since there was none here, she simply moved closer to the kiddos. “Welcome, everyone! Today we will be looking into Muggle sports and it is for this reason that we have a guest with us. As a matter of fact, there will be another dropping by soon. They will be both assisting today for the finer points of our topic. Adi? If you would be so kind as to introduce yourself?’’

Adi, who had been hovering away out of the spotlight, perked up then made his way closer to Stewart. “Hey again, everyone! I’m Aditya Atreyu-Rehman. I play Gobstones for the Hereford Hippogriffs and I co-own a Hippogriff and Dragon Reserve with my husband, Benjamin.’’ There were some more impressive stuff that he could toss in there like how he had been recruited for the Hereford team just as he was about to graduate from Hogwarts but this wasn’t the time for that. Unfortunately. “The sport that your professor has arranged to introduce you to, is one that I am very familiar with and currently coach.’’ Adi grinned around at them all. “Can’t wait to get into the sport with you guys.’’ Annnnd that was it from him for now.

“Thank you, Adi.’’ Kaysha indicated to the piles of gear before them and addressed the kiddos. “Based on your knowledge of sports, I’d like for each of you to tell me which sport you think we’ll be focused on today. We can safely eliminate baseball thanks to Mr. Thomas.’’ Surely the kiddos would have been reading their textbooks and some of them had been exposed to the sport at some point in time. If not, they could always make a guess. Right answers were not what she looked forward to at all times as most of them knew by now.

OOC: Hi, guys! Class has officially commenced from this point. Twenty four hours for this first question! Be creative if your charrie doesn't know the answer. Right or wrong answer, you still get the points!
