That might be an interesting choice. I loved the movie Amélie, and though it's nothing like the Harry Potter series, it's never a bad idea to have someone with a different perspective take over for a bit, and show us what we love from a fresh angle that we hadn't seen before.

To anyone who suggests George Lucas - a big fat NO on my part. I'm sorry, but I just can't respect his latest work. I know that he'd be working with a story that wasn't of his creation, but I still can't trust him.

Somebody mentioned Gore Verbinski, director of Pirates of the Caribbean. I think that'd be a great idea. But I'd also like to see Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio work on the screenplay, because those two are just great when they work together. Although they do mostly comedies, they do have the ability to carry out the more serious stuff too.
