Seeing the look she gave him, makes him want to burst out laughing. Shrugging he just smiles. She didn't want to ask, that was her choice, he thought...though he was disappointed, he wouldn't have minded replying truthfully.
"Aww, she is sweet really. I've honestly until that day never seen her get upset with anyone else. It really bothered her that's all." Shaking his head
"She can definitely fend for herself though, if ever needed." he adds with a laugh.
