Lexi finally peeled herself off of Sabel. He seemed as jumpy as she had last term... not good. She frowned deeper still and wiped at her eyes with the sleeve of her pyjama sleeve and said, "I feel like I am mourning you. The real you. What has happened to you, Sabel? I recognize shell shock when I see it." She didn't want to push him to tell her... "If you WANT to talk about anything I am here. You do not have to divulge anything to me if you don't want to," she said with a very big understanding there. She knew how it was to have people hassling you to talk when you wanted to forget everything.
Lexi smiled and nodded taking an ice mouse from Katy. She KNEW it was going to be an intense cold but she popped it into her mouth anyway and immediately her teeth started to chatter. Heh. She chewed on it and nodded her head. Yeah, good stuff.
Finally Lexi was able to speak but she stopped short when Katy went all sketchy and started to kind of flail to look over her shoulder. Odd. Yeah. Lexi furrowed her brow momentarily and then shrugged and said, "Not much, where have you been? I didn't see you at the feast." That may have had something to do with her having to babysit Euphoria drunken Jakers. Yeah that was fun. NOT.
She giggled as she saw Lexi's teeth start to chatter. That was the best thing about ice mice!!! Where had Kat been?? "Uhhh... Oh you know here and there. Trying to avoid certain people" She whispered the last part and grinned. Yes she was trying to avoid Stephen. There was something about that boy that told Kat to not mess with him. Buuut being Kat of course she messed with him. Annnnd now she was paranoid. "So what happened to your boyfriend at the feast??" She asked and then she saw she had been talking to someone next to her. And he looked ... sorta down. "Hey is your friend alright?"
