He was going to ignore that comment. It was kind of an insult, wasn't it? Saying he had no common sense. Psht. Whatever.

Ahhh, was he really that obvious? Darn, he really needed to get his fear in check. He didn't even need to get over it, he just needed to handle it better. Make it less obvious to random strangers who enter his compartment without permission. "Erm- pfftt, ch, noooooooo. No, I am not afraid of any sort of ... animal with wings." Darn, he couldn't even SAY it. He really needed help. He grabbed a load of candy and stuffed it all in his mouth at once. Calmmmmm. Callmmmmm.

He really didn't understand these sort of people. The kind who refuse candy. Or food. Or cupcakes. It just didn't make sense. Why would ANYBODY want to DO THAT? With his mouth full of candy, Jimbo stared at her in disbelief. But then she introduced herself and Jimbo was forced to chew and swallow quickly. "I'm Jimbo." She looked about his age. Maybe older. "What year are you in?"
