Ignoring the contradiction in his own line of thoughts, he shook his head opening his mouth to say only Merlin knew what when a rather strange expression caught the corner of his eye.

And then that smile widened even more at who was unintentionally hiding beside him.

Waving enthusiastically through the window, she pointed to the empty spots then to herself before mouthing Please.

It took a few blinks and another few moments to register who it was, he hadn't seen her around in so long. With a small smile and wave, he nodded in approval of her request. Perhaps their conversation could be deviated away from his distantness if another was struck up in it's place.
