As it is past midnight in the UK, today, Friday July 30th, marks Neville Longbottom's 30th birthday! Neville was introduced in the Harry Potter books as Harry, Ron, and Hermione's timid fellow Gryffindor, who later overcame his fears, and reigned strong and brave as the underground leader fighting Voldemort's resistance with Dumbledore's Army by the final installment, Deathly Hallows.

Neville, as pictured above, is played by actor Matthew Lewis in the Harry Potter films.
