The only reason she had went was to be with Carter and well, he made it clear that Kay was more important than she was. With her out of the picture he would be able to spend as much time as he wanted with Kay.

Where was that train? She was ready to go home NOW.

What? How in the name of Merlin's crazy long shiny white beard did she get that? Girls were way confusing.

And before he had any chance to say anything or do anything she was gone.

"I. Have. No. Idea." he said stunned at what just happened.

"I was just telling her it was going to be a few days before Apollo caught up with me --- Apollo is my owl --- so I won't be able to write for a few days." he said.

"Oh yeah. And something about Kay. For some reason the two aren't very fond of each other... Kay's meeting my parents over the summer to experience muggle life first hand... and... yeah." he rambled. Rambling, confused Carter was now back.
