"If the baby is yours, I would like you to at least be there for her and the baby." she says just as softly as he had just been.

Erik smiled as Kenzie rested her head on his chest. This was right. He was right and as much as he didn't want to admit it, he was glad this happened. If Kenzie had left he'd have spent the rest of his life wondering what could have happened. "I am too," he gave her a squeeze and rested his head against hers again.

Hearing her words though he looked thoughtful, "If it is mine o' course I would." He wouldn't think twice if that was the case. But she seemed so sure it wasn't. Pulling his head back he smiled at her then the smile fell, "What about that job o' yers in the States?" Surely they would be expecting her.
