Well... now what was he supposed to do now that the song ended? "Want to dance Destiny?" he asked her. "We could switch partners for a song." he suggested. Hopefully that was alright with Marie. After teaching the girl a rain dance he felt like he deserved a real one.

Destiny stopped hopping when she heard Marie's words and felt the chocolate hit her in the head. She immediately looked up towards the ceiling and a frown crossed her face. She didn't expect it to really rain chocolate, since they were indoors and all, and now that it was raining, she wished it wouldn't. She was wearing a WHITE dress for Merlin's sake!
"Noooo!" she turned to Marie, before reaching on the table for a napkin. After she wiped off her head, she turned to Carter waving the napkin in his face, "Stop! You can't have it rain INDOORS! We'll have a flood."
Not that Destiny would mind a chocolate flood..but she was sure everyone else would.
She placed another napkin over her head to guard it from any stray chocolate raindrops. "Can anyone conjure up an UMBRELLA!?"

Pffft, some witches and wizards they are. One would think the OLDER, past students would know how to make an umbrella appear. With the napkin still covering her head, she turned to glaaaaare at all the OLD PEOPLE around her. The napkin would have to do to keep the chocolate off of her, and when the OLD people decide to complain that they get chocolate in their hair, Destiny would ignore them..
..like they ignored her!
When Carter asked her to dance, her eyes fell on the dance floor. Not the dance floor itself, but the people there. Two people in particular. Professor Crayfish Lafay and Professor I'm-scared-of-Slytherins-Dodson.
With her eyes as wide as they could go, she turned to face Carter and shook her head, "No, I don't want to dance. I need to find Evelyn." Picking up her cat, she gave Marie and Carter a wave and ran away from the table.
Besides, she was SURE Marie wouldn't be happy if she danced with Carter.

Marie couldn't help but laugh at Destiny when she thought she had REALLY made it rain chocolate. Carters comments did nothing to make the girl believe differently either.
"An umbrella Destiny? Don't you know it is bad luck to open an umbrella inside?" Riiiiight, the girl puts napkins on her head instead. Well that would do nothing to protect that WHITE dress of hers. Oh well, maybe she thought her hair was more important than the dress.

Carter wanted to dance with Destiny some more... AND switch partners. There was NO way Marie was switching partners with Destiny. She knew who Destiny brought to the dance and she was NOT about to dance with him.
Oh thank Merlin!
Destiny picked up her cat and left to go find Evelyn.
"Yeah, she really brought her cat with her." she said laughing.
"You're lucky she took off because there was NO way I would switch dance partners with her. I am NOT dancing with a cat!" she told Carter. Nope, not now not ever would she be caught dancing with a cat.
