Selena walked back to her bed and laid down on it. The soft plushy pillows felt great under her head. Then she heard a crinkling sound. Did she leave something in her bed? She picked up the pillows and looked inside one. Oh. There was a letter in there.

I’m sorry that I’ve taken your best friend from you, I never meant to do it, and I hope that you forgive me for it. I hold no hard feelings for the accident, I know that it was just an accident, and I plan on taking full punishment for all three of us, seeing as how I started the whole thing. You’re very important to Alex, please, please, drop the stuck up pureblood thing and talk to her. If you want me away from her, I’ll stay away if it means keeping you two happy. I’m the third wheel in this equation, and the last person is always subtracted. Please just go back to being Alex’s friend.

Selena sighed and pulled out a fresh new sheet of parchment. She took out two sheets. She picked up her quill and started to write on it.

Actually, I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry for casting the spell on you, it was completely wrong of me and I hope you are feeling better. I hope you are not injured too greatly or anything that has long term effects. You don't need to take the blame, I am planning on turning myself in, it was me who cast the spell and I am ready for whatever punishment is thrown my way. And I'm alright with it.
I know you like Alex, it's pretty obvious, don't you think? I still consider her as a friend, and if you wish to be with her, then fine with me. I have nothing against it. Alex deserves someone like you in her life and I know you'll make her happy. Just that if you break her heart, I will hex you and if I am not expelled, this will lead me to expulsion.
Again, I am terribly sorry for what I have done. I'll attempt to make things better with Alex, though I cannot guarantee it because she may be too mad at me. I hope you have a great life with her.

She supposed she was off to the common room to give them the letters. They were always there. No point in making such a long trip to the owlry just to send this. Selena stood and picked up the two letters. She sighed and moved towards the common room.
