Evan sighed a little. Just as he decided to move on to another girl, Ella was gone--just like previous three girls. Only Marie had stayed, and she was the one to leave him either--what was wrong with him, seriously? Maybe there was some bad luck charm on him or something... must pa a visit to the Divination teacher. He would be the one to detect such a thing, right?

"Yeah, she was kind to accept to come with me..." he said a little bit distracted, looking around the decorations. He snapped back to Marie, and with some stupid instinct that kicked in, which came with his distraction, he reached out for her arm again and turned her around maybe too forcefully. "Please don't--" he started, but realising that their faces were only a few centimetres away, trailed off. It was truly an awkward and uncomforting moment, but it was also one of those magical ones that happened between two loving but not yet admitted people. Or at least for him, anyway. As he stared into her eyes again, not being able to take a step back, he felt a strong emotion coming back again--his feelings for her. His eyes fell at her lips. She was so close to him... he didn't want that to happen, he had to take a step back IMMEDIATELY. Yet, not only did he keep in that dreamily and very dangerous distance, but he also didn't let go of her hand too. He was sure he was about to taste one of her slaps now.
