Kayla stared at Jake with wide eyed innocence. Okay he knew her too well for that look to work, so she merely shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. You'll have to ask the person who made the dress."

Mind you, Kayla had no idea who the hell the designer was, she wasn't into the sort of thing.

Oh my! Was Jake Upstead being friendly or was he trying to flirt with her? Kayla made a show of looking around the hall before leaning in slightly so that she could speak quietly and Jake would still hear her. "People will get the wrong idea if you keep doing things like that Jakers." Not that Kayla gave a toss what people thought.

She turned her head so that she could look at the tattoo on her lower back and then grinned. "A couple of months ago" she replied and then she looked back to Jake. "How do you go eating with that thing in your tongue?"
