As Lexi scanned the room in search of volunteers, she noticed that Cela's hand was in the air---for a random assortment of things, too, it seemed. The Head Girl head a question, was volunteering to bring poor Rae to the Hospital Wing, and she was volunteering to release a dungbomb.
Smiling, Lexi replied to the question first.
"Remember that finite can be used to end the charm before it has time to wear off. In that sense, it's not strong enough to give you protection from spells used in a duel, especially the more advanced spells," she explained. She paused for a moment, thinking about intelligent of a question it was, then continued.
"I think it can definitely be used for some of the spells, though, such as...Avis Oppugno, for instance. It would likely stay in place until an advanced spell broke through or until it wore off on its own." "Thank you for volunteering...for both," she said, glancing toward Rae.

Then, the Professor asked for volunteers. She listened to what she was supposed to do and figured it would be worth the shot and she could possibly get points to help her house stay in the lead.
