OOC: You guys are just too entertaining! However, please remember that Lexi just passed out a mixing bowl and a wooden spoon to each student. The batter (and other ingredients) haven't been passed out yet.

It could make you be ready for the next task while you are using magic to finished the first one." he grinned.
Ok now to practice with the bowl. He pulled his wand out of his front apron pocket, like a waiter poised with a pen to take an order, and fixed it on the bowl in front of him. He decided to preform the old levitating spell nonverbally since he was used to it now, but after the Head Boy had swished and flicked, and the bowl was at the correct height, he spoke aloud. "Fixate!" and the bowl stopped. Ok that could have been disasterous.
The Gryffindor then turned his wand making the spoon turn in tune with it. This wasn't so bad, kind of fun really. Why did his mom complain about cooking so much???
"Mmhmm, that's exactly what I meant by multi-tasking. When we charm the spoon to act for us, we can make the most of our time by doing something else---something productive---in the meantime," she answered.

"Professor that would be great." Simon beemed as the Professor makes a suggestion, he was glad he hoped that someone would show him what to do and how to say the spell.
"We're getting ready to bake now, but don't worry---someone at your table can show you the spell in the meantime," she said, looking towards those seating nearby.
"A volunteer to model for Mr. de Simpson, please?" Seeing a Slytherin girl approach them and volunteer to help out, Lexi smiled.
"Thank you, Miss Starkenn," she said.
"Just go ahead and model the charm for him. I'm confident he'll catch on soon." Text Cut: TomasinaRiddle

Dillon tried to follow along. Cooking just wasn't his best skill. He'd never done it before. But he grabbed his spoon and his bowl and was determined to make the best cupcakes Professor Carlton had ever seen. He was sure of that.
He set his bowl on the tab and swished and flick, "Wingardium Levaso," the bowl rose into the air. So far so good. Well crumbs now he couldn't reach it. Now instead of using his wand to lower the bowl like a normal thinking person would do. Diggy grabbed a small step latter and stood on his tip toes to put his spoon into the bowl. "Locomotor spoon," he swished his wand faster than was needed and the spoon whizzed around the bowl sending blobs of batter flying everywhere.
A blob hit Diggy in his eye, "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" his arms pinwheeled around trying to catch something to break his fall and all he got was thin air. With a loud resounding CRASH! He hit the floor and blue canaries whirled around his head.
Just as Lexi was ready to address the class and have everyone get ready to bake, she heard a loud crash coming from the opposite end of the room. Blinking, Lexi scurried from one end of the room to the next, finally coming to a young Slytherin boy who'd...
done Merlin knew what...to get himself knocked out.
"Oh---my! Are you alright?" she asked, not quite sure yet as to whether he was knocked out or just
laid out.
"Do you need me to get someone to accompany you to the Hospital Wing, or do you'll be alright?"
She sort of craned her neck up a little and addressed the class.
"Go ahead and end the charm if you haven't already. Point your wand at the mixing bowl and spoon and say, 'Finite.' Remember to be ready to catch the bowl and spoon when they fall," she said.
"As soon as I check on Mr. Greenwood, we'll get started with our baking..."
