Chloe placed her elbow on the table and leaned her head on her hand as she listened to Asher talk. He said something about how he went through a rebellious stage, and she smiled at him, "And look how great you turned out! Though, admittedly I might have liked to see a little rebel in you, see you push the boundaries, be a little bad," she said in a bit of a hushed voice, eyes narrowing flirtatiously. And then she just giggled and sat back in her chair again. "I wouldn't worry about it too much. That's normal, especially for boys, to feel the need to assert their independence."
Asher smiled, if only she knew. He laughed loudly, suprising himself at how loud his laughing was.
"If only you had seen me back then." Asher told her.
"I was one crazy kid, especially when I was at home." Asher laughed. He remembered bothering his mother so much that her herself sent him over to the neighbor's house.
"I think he's going through the stage that Corbin went though. Trying to figure out why his parents abandoned him." Asher explained,
"Though, I'm not too worried, he's held up good through the years, I've pratically raised him like a child of mine from nineteen." Asher told her, he wasn't sure if he had explained Devon's situation before now or not.
